LifeWay Research did a survey asking unchurched Americans to agree or disagree with the following statement:
“If a friend of mine really values their faith, I don’t mind them talking about it.”
You might be surprised to learn that 79 percent agreed that they don’t mind us talking about our faith if it’s important to us. Yet, that same survey showed that only about one-third of the respondents have ever had someone explain to them the benefits of being a Christian.
There are people who are looking to understand the reason for the hope that you and I have—they want to believe there is something more, and if we have the answer, they want to hear it. So, do you know how to articulate why you believe:
- Jesus is the only way,
- the Bible is reliable,
- and all religions do not worship the same God?
