When we walk in God’s anointing, we are victorious. The anti-anointing is a strange fire of destruction and death. But the flame from the presence of the Lord will devour it, just as it devoured the profane fire of Nadab and Abihu.
After that, a sweet anointing of peace will flow over the church, all the way down to its feet and robe hems. Let us forget old fights among God’s people over issues that do not lead to the salvation of men and women.
Our enemy is not another denomination, or even denominationalism.
Our enemy is the devil, and the many lies by which he deceives the world: the lie that God is dead; the lie that God is indifferent; the lie that we can do without Jesus.
“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 12:11).
Note that “him” is singular! We have one enemy—the devil.
There is one power to oppose him—the Holy Spirit.
When we walk in God’s anointing: ready for service, filled with holy fire; then we are whirlwinds of destruction upon the enemy’s stolen territory.
We are unstoppable weapons of purpose and zeal, taking back what the enemy has stolen: the lives of men and women all around the world!
Let that be your purpose today.Taken from Daily Fire Devotional: 365 Days in God’s Word by Reinhard Bonnke. Copyright © 2016 by Reinhard Bonnke. Use by permission of Whitaker House. www.whitakerhouse.com
