REJOICE ALWAYS

WORSHIP AND PRAISE TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18). DAILY FIRE! I will rejoice, pray, and give thanks to the Savior of my soul. A true intercessor delights in worship and praise. Throughout the intercessory Psalms, there is not a single instance of honor to God being omitted in some shape or form. But intercession rises to God on the wings of worship. Requests and praise are two sides of the same coin. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6) As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. (Colossians 2:6–8) Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks. (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18) Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! (Psalm 105:3) Intercessors do not come to God being offended about what He has not done. Moaning is not praying. Our burden for the world’s needs is lifted as we pray in remembrance and thanks for what He can, and will do.  Often, our prayers of intercession are based on knowing that what God has done for ourselves, He will do for others, too (Psalm 30:1-4, 11-12).
