WHEN HEAVEN INVADED EARTH

INVASION TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made” (John 1:1–3). DAILY FIRE! He who is the Source of everything, dwells in me by His Spirit. Our world has been invaded, and the authority of the kingdom of God has drawn near to us. It is a superior, miracle order that overarches natural or scientific order.  Just as higher laws can overrule physical laws, the spiritual can overrule the material. That happens in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and when His gifts operate. John’s gospel says that all things were made by the Word: that is, by the Son of God, “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made” (John 1:3).  He who is the Source of everything that we see came into His own creation. He came “down from heaven” (John 6:38). That very important statement means that He became the Bridge reaching from the higher, invisible world to the visible.  Jesus later portrays Himself as a Jacob’s ladder set up between heaven and earth. There are two orders, with their own forces or powers. Jesus is the Link between them, the heavenly and the earthly order. The power of heaven is the creative power of God, by which the earth was made.  Through Christ, the Link with heaven, things are possible on earth, which were not possible before He came. He is called the “new and living way” (Hebrews 10:20). Through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit, commerce has begun between earth and heaven. The angels of God are coming and going. Because of Christ in our world, God can exercise His will here, through our prayers. It is a case of God wanting manpower, and our needing God’s power, for Jesus taught us to pray,  “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).  He has not shut Himself out of any part of His universe. He is Lord. He applies greater forces, and the natural laws obey the Spirit of God. We call that a miracle.  God is dealing with us in a new way. There is, of course, a grand purpose behind it. The object is not to pull off a few sensational wonders, like stage tricks, but the redemption of the world.  You can tap into that power today!
