Dear Friend,
When it comes to the important moral issues facing our nation, you can believe that those on the other side are making their views known.
So how much more as followers of Jesus Christ, and His representatives here on earth, do we have a duty to speak live-saving truth into the culture?
The poet Yeats says it well, “The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity.” God forbid that we lack conviction when so much is at stake, not only for ourselves, but also for our grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We are in a pivotal election year where the direction of America could be impacted for years to come. And that’s where you come in.
Our nation’s leaders must hear from committed Christians speaking with one voice on the critical moral issues facing our nation and her future. That is why we are asking you to take the 2018 Spiritual and Constitutional State of the Nationsurvey. As you respond to the questions, you will be letting leaders in Washington as well as major media outlets know where you stand on questions such as:
- Should schools be required to include information on the moral and religious beliefs of the founding fathers when teaching American history?
- Should same-sex couples have the legal right to marry?
- Do you think the IRS should be held accountable for its abuse of power?
These are just a sampling of the many questions you can speak to in the 2018 Spiritual and Constitutional State of the Nation survey. In addition, as our ministry partner, we’d like you to tell us what you believe are the most crucial issues facing our nation. By doing so, you’ll be helping us set ministry strategy going forward.
And when you request your survey, please remember that we are only able to continue the many outreaches of this ministry because of your faithful prayers and financial gifts.
Sincerely,
Frank Wright, Ph.D. President and CEO D. James Kennedy Ministries |
