Christ
Jesus told his Disciples:
“I
have told you these things,
So
that IN ME you may have Peace.
IN
THIS WORLD YOU WILL HAVE TROUBLE,
BUT
TAKE HEART!
I
HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.”
(John
16:33)

PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU;
MY
PEACE I GIVE YOU.
I
do not give to you as the World gives.
DO
NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED
AND
DO NOT BE AFRAID.
You
have heard Me say,
'I
am going away and I am coming back to you.
IF
YOU LOVED ME YOU WOULD BE GLAD
THAT
I AM GOING TO THE FATHER,
FOR
THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN I.

I have told you now before it happens,
So
that when it does happen you will believe.
30
I will not speak with you much longer,
FOR
THE PRINCE OF THIS WORLD IS COMING.
HE
HAS NO HOLD ON ME,
31
BUT THE WORLD MUST LEARN
THAT
I DO EXACTLY
WHAT
MY FATHER HAS COMMANDED ME.

The
World is here for us to OVERCOME.
Christ
Jesus Overcame the World;
The
World ruled by the Prince of this World, Satan,
And
we are able to Overcome the World
Through
Christ IN US,
Which
is the only way the World can be Overcome.
Only
Christ Jesus is more Powerful than Satan.
Only
Christ Jesus living IN and THROUGH US
Will
enable us to Overcome the World.
This
World belongs to Satan
And
is a thoroughly Wicked Place,
Created
by God for us to Overcome.
The
Apostle John admonishes us:

DO NOT LOVE OR CHERISH THE WORLD
Or
the things that are in the World
IF
ANYONE LOVES THE WORLD,
LOVE
FOR THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM.

FOR ALL THAT IS IN THE WORLD,
The
Lust of the Flesh
[Craving
for sensual gratification],
And
the Lust of the eyes
[Greedy
longings of the mind]
And
the Pride of life
[Assurance
in one's own resources
Or
in the stability of Earthly things]
These
do not come from the father
BUT
ARE FROM THE WORLD [ITSELF].

AND THE WORLD PASSES AWAY
AND
DISAPPEARS,
And
with it Forbidden cravings
(the
passionate desires, the lust) of it;
BUT
HE WHO DOES THE WILL OF GOD
AND
CARRIES OUT HIS PURPOSES IN HIS LIFE,
ABIDES
(REMAINS) FOREVER.
