THE TIME OF THE END

This is the Forward to the Book I have written

Entitled “The Time Of The End,”

A title taken from the Book of Daniel.

I have written this book to help Christians and interested persons

Understand what the Scriptures teach about “The Time Of The END”.

Christ Jesus gave us The Book Of Revelation and all of Scripture,

So that we could understand what He wanted us to know

About The Time Of The END.

He said about the Book of Revelation:

'Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy,

And blessed are those who hear it

And take to heart what is written in it,

Because the time is near.'

(Revelation 1:3)

Christ Jesus also said that the Holy Spirit will tell us what is yet to come.

(John 16:13)

The Book of Revelation is the primary book

Describing The Time Of The END.

However, in the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke Christ Jesus gives

The Signs of the End of the Age.

In these books He gives us the Beginning of Birth Pains,

And the “Season,” “The Lesson from the Fig Tree,”

That will immediately precede The Great Tribulation.

He tells us that the Generation that is living in the time of this “Season”

Will not pass away until The Great Tribulation occurs.

Other books of the New Testament give insight to The Time Of The END,

And also, the Old Testament Prophets and the Psalms

Have much to say about this subject;

Books written hundreds of years before the birth of Christ Jesus.

The fact of Israel's becoming a Nation again in 1948,

As was foretold by Scripture, speaks for itself.

Once one becomes aware of what God has to say through His Word,

About The Time Of The END,

We are better able to interpret

The time we are living in, in relationship to it.

This book is a journey

Through what God has to say about The Time Of The END.

I give my interpretation as to what I believe it means.

However, the pertinent Scriptures are quoted

So the reader can make their own interpretation.

God clearly wants His people to be prepared

For The Time Of The END.

Christ Jesus said about this:

No one knows about that day or hour,

Not even the angels in heaven,

Nor the Son, but only the Father.

BE ON GUARD! BE ALERT!

You do not know when the time will come.

It's like a man going away:

He leaves his house in charge of his servants,

Each with his assigned task,

And tells the one at the door to keep watch.

THEREFORE KEEP WATCH

Because you do not know

When the owner of the house will come back--

Whether in the evening or at midnight,

Or when the rooster crows, or at dawn.

IF HE COMES SUDDENLY

Do not let him find you sleeping.

What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!'

(Mark 13:32-37)

It is plain from what Christ Jesus said,

That we are to actively anticipate His return,

And the “Season” that precedes it.

To do this we must understand

All that He had to say on the subject.

It is also clear from reading the Scriptures

Concerning The Time Of The END,

That many, who name His name,

Are not ready for His return

And are caught unprepared, to their great harm.

It is my prayer, that you I are prepared,

Ready, alert, on guard and watching,

As Christ Jesus teaches us to be.
