THIS BABY IS A GIFT

This Baby is a Gift

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isa 9:6 ESV

When Jesus came into this world, He came bearing gifts for all who would receive Him. Here are just a few.

No Judgment

If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. John 12:47 ESV

Complete Forgiveness of Past, Present and Future Sins

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, Eph 1:7

“For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” Jer 31:34b ESV

No Condemnation

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Rom 8:1 ESV

Reconciliation, Peace with God

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, … 2 Cor 5: 18-19a ESV

Righteousness, We Have Been Made Right with God

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Cor 5:21 ESV

We Have Been Sanctified, Made Holy

And by that will we have been sanctified (made holy) through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Heb 10:10 ESV

Perfection in God’s Eyes

For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. Heb 10:14 NAS

Eternal Life

For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. Rom 8:2 ESV 

“…and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” 

John 11:26b ESV
