Dear Friend, The Catholic Church has filed a lawsuit after their Christmas-themed, "Find the Perfect Gift," ad was rejected by the D.C. Metro subway system. According to the Archdiocese of Washington, the D.C. Metro rejected the advertisement because it was "promoting religion and spiritual giving". Click here to read more about this issue. In response to the Washington, D.C. Metro decision to ban the ad, Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Tim Head issued the following statement. “This decision by the Washington Metro is blatant anti-Christian bigotry and should not be tolerated. People of faith across the country call for the government of Washington, DC to immediately revise this discriminatory policy and protect faith-based speech.” DC Metro's decision to reject religious Christmas ads is a clear violation of free speech and blatant anti-Christian bigotry. We will not permit such unabashed attacks on our religious liberty and we call on people of faith to fight with us to change this ruling. ACTION: Contact the D.C. Metro system today and tell them to STOP anti-Christian bigotry!Call: (202)-637-1328 |
Christ Jesus prayed that all those who would believe in Him would be ONE, just as He and the Father are ONE; that they be brought to complete unity so that the world would know that He was sent by the Father. (John 17:20-23)
