THIS DEAD WORLD

Christians often talk about this Dying World

But in fact the World is Dead.

When Adam and Eve Disobeyed God

And were cast out of the Garden of Eden

They Died, as God had told them they would,

And therefore the World they entered was Dead.

17 To Adam He said,

'Because you listened to your wife

And ate from the Tree

(The Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil)

About which I commanded you,

'YOU MUST NOT EAT OF IT,'

'Cursed in the ground because of you;

(This included the entire earth)

Through painful toil you will eat of it

All the days of your life.

18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,

And you will eat the plants of the field.

19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food

Until you return to the ground,

Since from it you were taken;

FOR DUST YOU ARE

AND TO DUST YOU WILL RETURN.'

(Genesis 3:12-19

We are all born Dead;

Born with a Sin Nature.

Hopeless, Helpless and Condemned.

Realize that everything apart from God is dead.

The only Event that changes this situation

Is Faith in Christ Jesus and His Word

Which are One and the same;

To be Born Again, born of the Spirit of God;

God Who alone is Alive.

To be Born Again is to go from Death to Life.

After being Born Again

We must walk in the Light of God's Word

To remain alive.

We must obey His Commands

Which can only be done

By the Power of His Spirit living in us;

Christ in us the Hope of Glory, or Eternal Life.

It is the Empowerment of God alone

The Power of His Spirit,

That enables us to Obey His Word;

To walk in His Light,

Otherwise it is Impossible.

The Disciples ask Jesus,

“Who then can be Saved.'
He answered them,

'With man this is Impossible

But with God All Things are Possible.'

(Matthew 19:26)

What is the Good News?

It is that by Faith in Christ Jesus,

Everyone can be Born Again,

Born of the Spirit of God

And be Changed from Death to Life.
