DAILY FIRE: GOD MADE FAMILIES

GOD MADE FAMILIES TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God" (Isaiah 43:1-3). DAILY FIRE! I am Christ's and Abraham's seed; therefore I am an heir according to the promise (Galatians 3:29 paraphrased) God wants families saved. The unity in the heart of creation makes prayer for a family work. The Old Testament tells of God’s family work: He chose Israel from the days of Abraham and Sarah, and the tribes of Jacob. They did not make themselves notable. They tended to blend into the neighboring heathen nations, where their identity would be lost. But their indifference showed God’s great determination for the family to flourish! Despite themselves, He made Israel distinguished in racial character.  After four thousand years, Israel is the most distinct single family on earth. No other race suffered such attempts at genocide, because no other race was so personal to God. Isaiah pointed this out: But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.…For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you are precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you…. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east and gather you from the west….
