A TESTIMONY IS A POWERFUL BRIDGE BUILDER

 

A testimony is a powerful bridge builder.

 

It’s a way to connect with someone so that they can see how you came to be who you are and why you believe what you believe. It’s a way to engage people, build a bridge, and help them see how they can come to faith as well.

 

I believe that’s one of the reasons God uses people like you and me to share the gospel—people can relate to other people. There is power in a personal testimony that points to Jesus.

 

I’m excited to see how God is going to use Steve McQueen’s testimony to reach people. We’ve already seen the influence the book is making, and I believe the new film, Steve McQueen: American Icon—which is premiering at the end of this month—is going to impact even more.
