DAILY FIRE: UNDER ATTACK

UNDER ATTACK  TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places'" (Ephesians 6:12).  DAILY FIRE! When it feels like I am living my life 'behind enemy lines' I remember that Christ Jesus came to rescue me from the power of the enemy.  Three times Jesus called the devil “the ruler of this world” (John 12:31). When the devil offered the kingdoms of this world to Christ, Jesus did not contest the devil’s ability to do so:  Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan!  For it is written: You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.” (Matthew 4:8–10)  Therefore, since he has cut off our rightful communication with God, it is up to us to learn how to re-establish those lines and not let them be severed again!
