WE DO NOT LIVE BY THE STANDARDS OF THE WORLD

3 FOR THOUGH WE LIVE IN THE WORLD,

WE DO NOT WAGE WAR AS THE WORLD DOES.

4 THE WEAPONS WE FIGHT WITH

ARE NOT THE WEAPONS OF THE WORLD.

ON THE CONTRARY,

THEY HAVE DIVINE POWER

TO DEMOLISH STRONGHOLDS.

5 WE DEMOLISH ARGUMENTS

AND EVERY PRETENSION

THAT SETS ITSELF UP AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD,

AND WE TAKE CAPTIVE EVERY THOUGHT

TO MAKE IT OBEDIENT TO CHRIST.

(2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

The World is a Pretense.

It Pretends to know something;

That it is going somewhere.

But without Faith in Christ Jesus it is going Nowhere,

Except to a Destination that they will regret.

All their Science and Technology,

That they Exult in, is as Child's Play to God.

There was a sign, along the highway in the Idaho Desert

That said: ARE YOU LOST?

Don't worry, your making good time.

That is the condition of the World;

It is Lost, but making good time in doing so.
