FAMILY RESEARCH COUNCIL, IN THE FIGHT FOR RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Drain the D.C. Swamp

Within a month, FRC Action will encounter a significant funding challenge???the end of its fiscal year.

But frankly, I don't want to write to you about dollars. I want to write to you about what those dollars mean to the future of Christianity in America.

How bad has it become?

So bad that the U.S. Congress forced Obamacare on the nation, demanding that Christians ignore the teaching of the Bible and participate in the funding of drugs that can destroy human life.

So bad that in 2016 the Supreme Court justices who redefined marriage, imposing it on every state, set the stage for radical bureaucrats and other judges to punish Christians???and punish them severely???for merely daring to dissent.

So bad that some leaders in the military tried to get rid of chaplains who counseled on sexuality according to the Bible...

so bad that faith-based federal contractors were ordered to knuckle under to the new anti-biblical sexuality or lose precious income...so bad that the federal government went on the attack against the biblical definition of "gender" with the NBA, NFL, NCAA, huge corporations, and Hollywood threatening economic doom and public shame for those who stand for the reality of two genders.

But last November, I believe God granted America a reprieve.

This past fiscal year, FRC Action registered and educated massive numbers of Christian voters in key states for the presidential and congressional elections.

From November through January, FRC Action was instrumental in providing insight and advice to the Trump transition team and the leaders of Congress on the biggest dangers to Christian faith and religious liberty posed by the government.

After the January swearing in of the new government, our team's work was immediately addressed by the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch.

After the nomination came the bruising confirmation battle. FRC Action supplied Members of Congress and the public with facts, arguments, and refutations of "fake news" about Judge Gorsuch. We helped him take a seat on the Court in April.

We're working with the Trump administration and Congress to impact the over 100 powerful federal judge nominations that are coming. Our goal is federal judges who will stop the war on religious freedom.

We pushed for the federal government to drop its ridiculous Obama-era mandate that men be allowed in women and girls' bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, changing rooms, and more in public schools. And in February, the Trump administration responded by rescinding guidance letters from the Obama administration imposing the "men's and women's bathrooms" policy.

Without supporters like you, none of it could happen.

FRC Action's policy experts???on Capitol Hill every single day???are working hard to ensure that Planned Parenthood is defunded...the end to the legal cases where the federal government has forced religious ministries to participate in abortion and contraception...and an end to the U.S. military's continued hostility to Christians who want to live out their faith in a lawful but open fashion.

To achieve all these critical goals and more, FRC Action needs immediate financial help from loyal supporters like you. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by June 30 so that we finish our fiscal year on track with funding to start the new year ready to intensify our efforts to "drain the Washington, D.C., swamp" of the anti-Christian forces lurking there.
The supporters of the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, the LGBTQ lobby, and others have been breaking fundraising records.

We must answer that challenge. I need to hear from you with a most generous gift possible. Can you respond today? Thank you for your prompt action.
Standing (Eph. 6:13),

Tony Perkins
President
P.S. Our fiscal year ends June 30, less than one month away, and we need to receive $50,000 by then. And the battle is intensifying every day! Please consider what I've said, and send as generous a gift as you can to keep "draining the D.C. swamp" of the powerful forces that want Christianity out of our society.
