DAILY FIRE: SICKNESS IS NOT GOD'S PLAN

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him” (Acts 10:38). DAILY FIRE! I resist the enemy, and his seeds of destruction. I accept God’s plan for me to walk in physical health, even as my soul prospers! Sickness in God’s good world is like weeds growing among wheat.  But make no mistake—God did not sow the weeds, “an enemy has done this” (Matthew 13:28). God sent Jesus, “who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him” (Acts 10:38). It was the Creator’s protest against the sabotage of His work by the devil. Jesus placed an importance on medicine. “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick” (Mark 2:17). He then promptly set about healing people! When you learn to work with God for your healing, whether He chooses to work through doctors, or through His own divine power, then you understand how much He loves you, and how He truly wants you to “prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 1:2).
