ARE YOU AND ALIEN AND A STRANGER IN THIS WORLD?

Dear Friends I Urge you,

AS ALIENS AND STRANGERS IN THE WORLD,

To abstain from Sinful Desires

Which War against your Soul.

(1 Peter 2:11)

I am a Stranger on Earth

Do not hide your Commands from me.

(Psalm 119: 19)

I have given them Your Word

And the World has Hated them,

FOR THEY ARE NOT OF THE WORLD

Any more than I am of the World.

My prayer is not that You take them out of the World

But that You protect them from the Evil One.

THEY ARE NOT OF THE WORLD,

Even as I am not of it.

Sanctify (set them apart) them by the Truth;

Your Word is Truth.

As You sent Me into the World,

I have sent them into the World.

For them I Sanctify Myself,

That they too may be Truly Sanctified (set apart).

(John 17:14, 15)

Are we, Aliens and Strangers in this World?

If we belong to Christ Jesus, that is what we are,

And that is how we see ourselves.

This World is captive to Sin,

Captive to the Sin Nature that each person is born with;

Condemned before a Holy God. (John 3:18)

If we walk in the Light of Christ,

We are Witnesses of the Truth of Christ,

And are indeed, Aliens and Strangers in this World.

Through our Witness, as Aliens and Strangers,

Christ will Draw the Willing to Himself.

As we Lift Up Christ Jesus,

He will Draw the willing to Himself.
