Do you know some people who would never “darken the doorway” of a church? A bad experience in the past, or a misconception planted by our culture, or just their own guilty conscience has given them the notion that churches should be avoided at all cost. How can we reach those people with the gospel? I think the answer can be found in Romans 2:4, which tells us that it is God’s kindness that leads us to repentance. As God’s ambassadors, we should be displaying God’s kindness and patience and goodness with the world. Harvest America, coming up on June 11, is a great way for you to open up your home to display God’s kindness and hospitality—like a man named Thomas did a couple years ago. He told us: “We hosted Harvest America at my son's home with 20 friends and neighbors in attendance. The event was awesome. Pastor Greg's message touched each of our hearts and 5 friends joined the call to become part of the Lord's family. Thank you all and to God be the glory!” —ThomasTom, would you become home host for Harvest America? The people you invite will experience God’s kindness through you, and will also have an opportunity to respond to the gospel. Hosting is free and we’ve made it really easy to prepare for. Just go to host.harvestamerica.com to sign up to become a host. Like Thomas, you may just see your friends and neighbors make a commitment to Jesus Christ! Thank you, In Christ,Greg
