SCIENCE GUY? HOW ABOUT SMUT PEDDLER?

Nye

SCIENCE GUY? HOW ABOUT SMUT PEDDLER?

Bill Nye's 'seemingly delighted that that which was once confined to a public toilet wall can now to put on video'

Bill Nye has built a lucrative career championing science. He’s cashing in on the nostalgia surrounding his old children’s show with a new show on Netflix, “Bill Nye Saves the World.”
In theory, the show promotes a scientific worldview.
But in practice, it’s promoting degenerate sexual behavior, claims gender exists along a “spectrum,” and spews out left-wing propaganda no Christian parent would ever let their child watch.
Among the most disturbing segments is one titled “My Sex Junk” featuring minor celebrity Rachel Bloom. Bloom raps about using sex toys, declares her vagina has “its own voice” and urges homosexual experimentation. Nye praised the performance as “very special” and “exactly the right message.”
Viewer discretion advised for foul language:
Christian filmmaker Ray Comfort, who took on self-styled champions of science such as Richard Dawkins in books such as “Nothing Created Everything,” said Nye has finally revealed his true nature.
“It’s a poorly produced smutty little video,” Comfort said, describing Nye’s work. “This shows that Bill Nye isn’t the kiddy-scientist he’s pretended to be for all these years. He stands off-stage, seemingly delighted that that which was once confined to a public toilet wall can now be put on video.”
Comfort said it is no longer possible to pretend the champions of “science” are sincerely committed to truth. Instead, he claims Nye’s latest spectacle reveals those who promote supposedly scientific theories such as evolution and global warming are simply pushing left-wing politics and atheism.
“Those who push ‘evolutionary’ science have always had an agenda,” Comfort charged. “People like Richard Dawkins and Bill Nye are popular Pied Pipers who play a tune this world loves to hear, because they provide the means to get rid of moral responsibility.
If Darwin was right, then there’s neither right nor wrong. We are just animals with no rhyme nor reason. Therefore, pornography, fornication, adultery, homosexuality and abortion are okay.
But if you add pedophilia to the list, suddenly they bring in moral rules.
Their moral boundary is that anything is OK ‘as long as it doesn’t hurt somebody else.’ There are no rules, except for the ones they make up.”
Comfort contends he is not anti-science. Indeed, he claims he continues his persuasive efforts precisely because of the success he’s met in debating those who are willing to hear the evidence for God.

And Nye himself has debated Christians in the past. One of the most famous is Ken Ham, the president and CEO of Answers in Genesis, the group responsible for the Creation Museum and the world-famous Ark Encounter.
Nye debated Ham on the topic of evolution in 2014, in a landmark contest now available on DVD. Ham believes Nye’s new show confirms what he argued in 2014 – the debate about evolution isn’t about “science” at all.
“This terrible video clip from Bill Nye’s new show illustrates what I declared during my debate with him in 2014 – that the creation vs. evolution battle is really a clash of worldviews,” Ham told WND.
“It’s a Christian worldview based on God’s Word as opposed to a secular worldview based on man’s word.
This video certainly exposes Bill Nye’s goal, which is not so much to defend his view of science, but to push his secular worldview of moral relativism. Promoting sexual anarchy appears to be one of his aims.
“Ultimately, believing in evolution isn’t a deep intellectual commitment to science.
I suggest that the evolution belief system is increasingly being used as an excuse to do immoral things, like pornographic things, which Nye’s video segment glorifies.”

Ham says those who claim to be “defending science,” especially those pushing evolution, are often more interested in brainwashing people into a political agenda than anything else. He used the recent “March for Science” by liberal activists in Washington, D.C., as an example.
“The so-called March for Science was really a rally that promoted a secular, anti-Christian worldview more than anything else,” Ham told WND. “And when it comes to the teaching of naturalistic evolution, it has never really been about ‘science’ in the sense of observational science, which helps us build our technology.
Evolution teaching is about brainwashing generations of people into a secular worldview that also promotes moral relativism.
“Generations have been indoctrinated into using the word science to describe naturalistic evolutionary belief. People have been falsely led to believe that because ‘science’ has produced our wonderful technology, they must also accept the religion of evolution, which is claimed to be science, and its worldview of moral relativism.”
The overtly political nature of Nye’s show, Ham maintains, should be a wake-up call to all Christians about the real aims of those who teach evolution.
“In recent times, secularists have become more aggressive in using their so-called ‘science’ to push their anti-God views of marriage, gender, abortion, et cetera,” he said. “Essentially, the teaching of evolution has been a tool to promote their worldview agenda, including when it comes to social issues.”
Comfort added that Darwinian evolution never was “science,” properly understood.
“Darwinian evolution doesn’t pass the scientific method,” Comfort said. “It is not observable or testable, because supposedly it happened millions of years ago. It has to be accepted by blind faith.
“The Bible, on the other hand, passes the scientific method. The book of Genesis says that every animal brings forth after its own kind, and that there is male and female. We see that in the existing creation and in the fossil record. It passes the scientific test. Darwinian evolution doesn’t.
It’s nothing but a fairytale for grown-ups. It’s unproven and unprovable, but it’s embraced by millions because it opens the door to the delightful pleasures of sin, as the Bible says ‘for a season.'”
For Christians interested in science, Ham said there is an alternative to the phony “science” promoted by the likes of Nye, found at Answers In Genesis’s exhibits at the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter.

“At the Creation Museum, we teach children, teens and adults the difference between observational science (that builds our technology) and historical science (beliefs about the past),” Ham said. “Our guests are encouraged to think critically and logically in order to understand there are two starting points for our worldview – God’s Word or man’s word.
“The museum also teach visitors that a Christian worldview based on God’s Word enables them to have a correct scientific interpretation of the evidence we study in the present in relation to the past. We also show guests that observational science confirms God’s Word, beginning in Genesis. People are also taught how to defend the Christian faith and to see that a secularist worldview is illogical and bankrupt.”
Such exhibits, Ham hopes, will create new examples of what he calls “thinking Christians” who will continue the proud tradition of believers who pushed the frontiers of human knowledge. Ultimately, he thinks the world needs “a new generation of God-fearing scientists.”
“Many of the greatest scientists in history – James Clerk Maxwell, Johann Kepler, Isaac Newton and so on – were men who believed God’s Word and built their thinking on the basis of what God has revealed to us,” Ham explained.
“We have several staff with earned Ph.Ds; two of our scientists have doctorates from Ivy League schools. Although non-Christians can do great observational science (though they are inconsistent in their foundation, as they borrow from a Christian worldview), in order to be a truly great scientist, I think of the example of Johann Kepler.
As he conducted his research, Kepler said that he was merely thinking God’s thoughts after Him. Kepler and many other leading scientists were great because they started with God’s Word as the foundation for their thinking. Modern science was able to reach great heights, and non-Christians are benefiting.
“Through the Creation Museum, Ark Encounter, and the Answers in Genesis ministry, we have done our best to show people that there is a Christian philosophy that could be applied to every area f life, and it is built by starting with Scripture. With such an approach, a Bible-based philosophy works! It explains the evidence and enables great scientific advancement!”
But what Nye is doing now, Ham said sadly, is the opposite of science. Indeed, Nye’s decline has been so pronounced Christians should pray for his soul.
“At the end of the ‘song’ about female genitalia and free sex that was sung on Nye’s show, he states – ‘This is exactly the right message,'” noted Ham.
“So, yes, Nye has become a political activist who is pushing an anti-Bible, anti-God agenda. In recent times he has also thrown his support behind murdering children in their mother’s wombs through abortion.
“The video clip celebrates Nye’s defiance of a holy and righteous God. We need to pray for the soul of this man whose conscience is seared.”
