CHRIST IS TO BE TRUSTED FOR ALL THINGS

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
“Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him” (John 6:27).

DAILY FIRE! - Christ For All Nations
Christ is to be trusted for all things, not just a miracle or two.
As we mature and progress in our lifelong walk of faith, we advance from childhood into adulthood:

"And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it" (1 Corinthians 3:1–2).
Let us see how our faith continues to grow:
Third Step: Believing in Jesus as an inspired person, like a prophet. The disciples told Christ that was how people thought of Him, “Some say [you are] John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets” (Matthew 16:14). He entered Jerusalem and, “the multitudes said, ‘This is Jesus, the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee’” (Matthew 21:11). They applauded Him: but Jesus, like Jeremiah, wept.

They had gone so far, but had not allowed Him to take them under His wing and save them.
Fourth Step: Believing in God’s power. In Jerusalem, everybody believed in His power. Many believed also in Christ’s powers. They did not doubt what they saw: that He had healing power, that He was a Miracle Worker, and they even wanted to make Him king.

But Christ wanted a broader faith. They believed in His physical powers: but did not place Him where He should be, as Lord and Savior.
