A HIGH VOLTAGE LOVE

"For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” (Luke 12:12 ESV)
We can witness to others through examples that are familiar to all involved. I enjoyed witnessing to my fellow workers in this manner many times. The topic best received by my electrical craftsmen was a comparison of God's unfathomable saving grace for us to the operation of an electrical transformer.
Just as a transformer converts high voltage to customer-usable-household voltage levels, God blesses us in our fallen condition through the transforming effect of the Holy Spirit, making us suitable for His purpose.
Similarly, the electromagnetic currents within a transformer that radically change the primary to secondary induced currents can be compared to the sacrifice and intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Word and the Way to the Father for us.
Although many more comparisons can be made, these two examples seemed to make the best "connection" with my electricians and prompted the most enjoyable conversations.
