'THE RABBI WHO FOUND MESSIAH' IS ROCKING ISRAEL

Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri claims to have met the Messiah in vision.

'LIKE BILLY GRAHAM CONVERTING TO ISLAM'

Carl Gallups shares story of 'The Rabbi Who Found Messiah'

If it were more widely known, it could shake an entire faith to its foundations. The only thing comparable would be someone like Billy Graham converting to Islam.
That was the shocking comparison Pastor Carl Gallups gave Rabbi Eric Walker in a recent appearance on “Revealing The Truth” when discussing the story of Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri.
Gallups, a pastor and author of several books including his most recent, “When The Lion Roars: Understanding The Implications Of Ancient Prophecies For Our Time,” described Rabbi Kaduri as the most famous and respected Haredi teacher in Israel and the unlikely source of an unprecedented Messianic revival among Jews.
Kaduri, who died in 2006 at the age of 108, had claimed to been visited by the Messiah. He left a message behind for his followers which was to be opened one year after his death. The message was widely covered – until it was revealed there was a coded reference to the name of the Messiah. The name was Yehoshua, the formal name for Yeshua, or Jesus, in Greek.
Once that message got out, references to the content of Kaduri’s final lesson started being taken down from the media and there were denunciations of the note as a forgery.
Gallups said that is understandable, considering everything that was at stake.
“First of all, it contradicts the teachings of the rabbis about Messiah and it comes from their most venerated rabbi in the history of modern Israel,” he said. “So it’s hard to refute, they set out to refute it, and became very vitriolic.
The other reason was that the Israeli media, once it was exposed that there most venerated rabbi had actually named Jesus as the Messiah, they shut the story down. Information was pulled off of websites, the media refused to report.
“Now, we’re talking about a rabbi that when he died, the president of Israel gave his eulogy.
They had to shut the streets of Israel down for two days, there were 300,000 people there.
This is not some little rabbi shoved away in a corner somewhere. This is a guy directly connected to Ariel Sharon, Benjamin Netanyahu knew him personally. And Benjamin Netanyahu by the way, has my book and my movie given to him by Pat Boone.”
A story too incredible for fiction. “This guy is a world figure who has just been revealed to proclaim the Messiah is Jesus. It shook the world. It rocked the world to this day.”
Of course, many could object the name supposedly given by Kaudri, Yehoshua or Yeshua, is a common name. After all, doubters could say, this doesn’t specifically recognize the Jesus Christians worship as the Jewish Messiah.
However, Gallups says this misses the context Kaduri was operating in.
“It is the only name that comes from the only faith system in the world that comes from the Jewish faith that proclaims there is a Messiah named Yeshua!” he exclaimed.
“So if it wasn’t the Jesus that you and I know from the Scriptures, why in the world would he even dare to do that? Of course!
Why would he dare to tarnish his name and legacy forever? But of course, he knew he would be with the Lord. The Lord had revealed that to him.
So he didn’t care! He was with Yeshua.”
Gallups, a former law enforcement officer, emphasized his fact-based approach to the story and said his only concern was finding out the truth.
He argued the objections of those who claim the note was a forgery simply don’t hold up.
“There were people that were thrilled with the story,” he said. “There were others who said: ‘Wow, this is interesting, I’ve never heard this before. This is well written, well researched, I’m going to have to give it some thought.’
And then there were some who were furious that the story was told.
“The general Orthodox Jewish reaction right now, those that are absolutely opposed to Jesus, say different things. They say, ‘Well, he must have lost his mind.’ Well, you can verify that because he was standing before his yeshiva in his perfect right mind when he said it, and he wrote the note in his perfect right mind and told his yeshiva what he was going to do.
“Then they say, ‘The note was a fake, a fraud, a Christian trick.’ Well, how can that be? You were in possession of the note. You posted the note. You celebrated the note. You confirmed it was his handwriting.
The only time you denied all of that was when it was discovered that it was a code and when you decoded it and the name Jesus was right before your eyes.”
The revelation of Kaduri’s final message has sparked a Messianic movement in Israel called the “Kaduri Revival.”
Zev Porat of Messiah of Israel ministries has been using “The Rabbi Who Found Messiah” book and movie to great effect in introducing his fellow Jews to Messiah.
“He is using that movie profusely, leading Orthodox Jews to Christ all over Israel,” Gallups said of Porat’s efforts.
“There are Jews coming to Christ now. Because not only did this rabbi say and do it, but now it’s in a book.
They can see it with their eyes, they can watch it in a movie. And there are about a dozen students that were under his teaching in the yeshiva that came to Christ, that are out testifying. They’re on video. In my movie, we’ve got several of them giving their testimonies in Hebrew, being translated.”
Rabbi Walker, of Jewish descent himself, said it is all part of a Messianic movement sweeping the Jewish community. And Rabbi Kaduri is only part of a lager trend.
“More Jewish people are coming to faith in this season because of the work of Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, of your work, of what Joel Richardson is doing, of what Joel Rosenberg is doing, of what Kurt Schneider is doing [with his book] ‘The Jewish Jesus,’ Jonathan Bernis, what the fellowship of Israel related ministries is doing in Israel,” he said to Gallups.
”Thousands upon thousands of Jewish people are coming to faith. And this is issuing in a real season of awareness.”
