With the current conversation about foreign policy and the global rise of religious intolerance and persecution, one thing remains clear: We must be vigilant in our commitment to meet the needs of Christians who are suffering in Iraq and Syria. As one of our partners on the ground recently reported, “God is here. His church is here. And just like the church in Acts, He’s given us the blessing of ministry in the midst of persecution and violence.” I thank God for the ministry of our partners. Even as persecution in Iraq and Syria continues to rise, they’re ensuring Christians in the area receive practical resources to help keep their hope alive.
