TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES

In the 60's there was a Game Show entitled Truth or Consequences;

If a contestant did not answer the games question correctly

There were Consequences.

Likewise, in the realm of this life

There is a Reality and it is also Truth or Consequences.

It is a Spiritual Reality

And Ultimately all Reality is Spiritual Reality.

The Reality of this life is this:

Ether we Embrace the Truth or we suffer the Consequences.

And in this case the Consequences are Eternal.

Christ Jesus said:

'I am the Way the Truth and the Life.

No one comes to the Father except through Me.

(John 14:6)

In other words we either Embrace the Truth,

Which is Christ Jesus,

Or we have no access to the Father and Eternal Life.

What is the Truth?

It is the Whole of God's Word,

And Christ Jesus is the Word of God made Flesh;

He is the Word of God, acted out in this natural realm.

The Word (the Truth) became Flesh

And lived for a while among us.

We have seen His Glory,

The Glory of the One and Only Son,

Who came from the Father,

Full of Grace and Truth.

(John 1:14)

The Word of God and the Truth of God

Are Embodied in Christ Jesus;

They are One and the Same.

Christ Jesus said:

'When He, the Spirit of Truth, comes,

HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH.'

(John 16:13)

'If you love Me,

You will Obey what I Command.

And I will ask the Father,

And He will give you Another Counselor

To be with you Forever--

THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH.

THE WORLD CANNOT ACCEPT HIM,

Because it neither sees Him nor knows Him.

But you know Him,

For He lives with you

And will be IN you.'

(John 14:15-17)

Christ Jesus said this

In reference to The Day Of Pentecost,

When the Spirit of Truth was given to the Saints;

When the Spirit of Truth INDWELT the Saints.

Today, every Christian has experienced

His personal Day of Pentecost,

When the Spirit of Truth came and INDWELT them.

THEN the challenge is to live

By the Truth of the Spirit within them.

'Whoever lives by the Truth

Comes into the Light (of Christ),

So that it may be seen Plainly

That what he has done

Has been done THROUGH God.'

(John 3:21)

Scripture tells us that in the End

The Whole World Perishes

BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO LOVE THE TRUTH;

All except those whose names are written

In the Lamb's Book of LIFE.

(2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; Revelation 13)

The word REFUSE is important to understand,

Because you cannot REFUSE something

That is not Presented to you

And given you the CHOICE.

The Whole World is given the CHOICE,

And they REFUSE that CHOICE;

And they Suffer the Consequences of their Choice;

And Eternal Hell.

The Prophet Daniel tells us

That in the Last Day,

RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUTH ARE THROWN TO THE GROUND.
