Trey Gowdy Has Quite Possibly the BEST Response to Trump’s New “Muslim Ban”
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) came out with a very supportive statement for President Donald Trump’s executive orders on “extreme vetting.”
While Gowdy, a strong Constitutionalist, spoke of our great history of welcoming immigrants, he also balanced that with the need to provide proper defense of the nation.
Gowdy hits it out of the park.
You don’t need to ignore the ideals and our history of being a nation welcoming to immigrants to pay attention to the security.
But you also have to ensure that people are adequately vetted.
If your FBI director says that is not possible, then how can you proceed until you find a way to do adequate vetting?
The security of the nation is the number one obligation of the President of the United States and those members of Congress who have sworn an oath to the Constitution.
Gowdy understands this better than most.
No one lays it out more clearly.

My comments: What the Politicians cannot say, is that Islam is a False and Evil religion based on the Koran that Incites Violence against Everyone, including its own. The Koran stands in direct Opposition to the US Constitution--It demands the KILLING of all who are not Muslim.
