FAITH, THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS

For In Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value.

THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS IS FAITH

EXPRESSING ITSELF THROUGH LOVE.

(Galatians 5:6 NIV)

For [if we are] In Christ Jesus,

Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything,

BUT ONLY FAITH ACTIVATED AND ENERGIZED AND EXPRESSED

AND WORKING THROUGH LOVE.

For it is by Grace you have been Saved,

THROUGH FAITH--

And this not from yourselves,

IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD--

Not by Works, so that no one can boast.

For we are God's Workmanship,

CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS TO DO GOOD WORKS,

Which God Prepared in Advance for us to do.

(Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV)

For it is by Free Grace (god's unmerited favor)

That you have are Saved

(Delivered from Judgment

And made Partakers of Christ's Salvation)

THROUGH [YOUR] FAITH.

And this Salvation is not of yourselves--

Of your own doing,

It came not through your own Striving--

BUT IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD;

Not because of Works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands],

Lest any man should boast.--

It is not the result of what any one can possibly do,

So no one can pride himself in it

Or take glory in himself.

For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship)

Recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew]

THAT WE MAY DO THOSE GOOD WORKS

Which God Predestined (planned beforehand) for us,

(Taking paths which He prepared ahead of time)

That we should walk in them—

Living the Good Life

Which He Prepared and made ready for us to live.

(Ephesians 2:8-10, AMP)

The Word of God tells us

That the only thing that matters in this life,

IS FAITH ACTING THROUGH LOVE.

NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.

This makes life very simple for the Christian.

This is our Witness for Christ Jesus;

IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT DIFFERENTIATES US

FROM THE PAGAN WORLD.

Therefore, since we are Surrounded

By such A Great Cloud of Witnesses,

Let us throw off everything that Hinders

And the Sin that so easily Entangles,

And let us run with Perseverance

The Race marked out for us.

LET US FIX OUR EYES ON JESUS,

THE AUTHOR AND PERFECTER OF OUR FAITH...

(Hebrews 12:2 NIV)

When we have FAITH our eyes are FIXED on Jesus

The Author and Perfecter of our FAITH.

We never let Him our of our Sight;

Out of our Minds; Out of our Hearts.

HE IS THE SOLE MOTIVATION FOR OUR LIVES;

As the FAITH He has given us

Is the only thing that makes this life worthwhile;

Nothing else matters by comparison.

OUR ETERNAL DESTINATION RESTS ON THIS REALITY.
