There are three tenses of faith: “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). The Christian confidence is that what God was, He is and will be. “Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident” (Pslam 27:3).
