“Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me” (Psalm 51:7–10).

My Jesus, my Savior, has washed me completely from my sins; now I wear His righteousness. Who is the greatest in the kingdom of God? Maybe the unknown: but certainly, the one who serves without an ulterior motive. Undoubtedly, the greatest of all is the One who took a towel and washed the disciples’ feet; and when water would not do, He poured out His life’s blood for humanity’s cleansing. Jesus Christ, what a Servant, who came to wash the hearts and feet of all mankind!
