TRUMP BULLDOZED THE OTHER WALL

GLOBALIST SMACKDOWN

TRUMP BULLDOZED THE OTHER WALL

Exclusive: Curtis Ellis emphasizes president-elect's game-changing success in Rust Belt

UNITED NATIONS – Donald Trump promised to build a wall on our border with Mexico. Millions rallied to the cause and began the long march to Washington.
Donald Trump bulldozed another wall along another border, and from the breach stepped a second column that carried him to victory.
This other wall of which much less was spoken is perhaps the more important. It is, or was, the Blue Wall.
Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, the impregnable fortresses defending Democratic domination of the Electoral College, proved as effective as the Maginot Line before the armies of Trump.
Trump hammered the NAFTA and China trade deals that hollowed out our manufacturing base and expelled millions of Americans from the middle class, deals that were signed by a president named Clinton.
He bludgeoned the TransPacific Partnership, a grand international compact Hillary supported, and which promised to eliminate what’s left of American manufacturing and the livelihoods of those who depend on it.
The disaffected and disenfranchised deserted the Democratic Party of their ancestors, joined the Trump rebellion, and the Blue Wall crumbled like the decaying factories that stand as silent sentinels of despair across America’s industrial heartland.
Support for so-called free trade had been the default position of the bipartisan establishment ruling Washington for decades.
The de-industrialization of large swaths of America as well as the concomitant loss of 70,000 factories, millions of jobs and hundreds of billions in tax revenues could not shake its faith in the orthodoxy of the High Church of Free Trade.
But politics trumps policy.
Within 100 hours of Trump’s triumph, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and incoming Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., declared the Trans-Pacific Partnership dead.
However sweet free trade may be to the donor class, politicians who drink from this chalice will find it toxic.
Like Belshazzar, the princes of the Senate saw the handwriting on the wall.
It told them their days were numbered.
Voters have sovereignty over the kingdom of politicians, and those who grow arrogant will be humbled.
In this instance, the wall was blue.
And Donald Trump bulldozed it.
