THE OVERWHELMING COMPASSION OF CHRIST

CHRIST FOR ALL NATIONS
IN ONE WORD: COMPASSION

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the Spirit” (1 Peter 3:18).

DAILY FIRE!
I desire to be filled with the compassion that motivated Jesus Christ.
He lived absolutely for us. When He left the carpenter’s bench in Nazareth, He first faced fierce temptations in the wilderness. In every instance, He was tempted to think about Himself. One test was to feed Himself by a miracle; another to receive all the kingdoms on earth as a gift; the other to perform a wonderful sign that would have everybody acclaiming Him as Messiah. The Lord was repelled by the very suggestion. He went hungry; He was crucified instead of crowned; and He was charged with blasphemy instead of being deified. Jesus’ love for you and for me is overwhelming at times, but it is true! Let that love motivate you today. Let Christ’s compassion drive you to action!
