Some white Americans 'don't have anything to look forward to'

Former president Bill Clinton has said the life expectancy for some “middle-aged, non-college-educated white Americans” is dropping.

And it’s because, he explained, under years of the Barack Obama administration, “they don’t have anything to look forward to when they get up in the morning.”

The comments undermine Hillary Clinton’s repeated insistence, intended to counter GOP candidate Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, that America still is great.

Bill Clinton’s statements were uncovered by the Daily Caller from a behind-closed-doors fundraiser speech late last year.
