PEOPLE LOVE DARKNESS

(John 3:16-21 from the Amplified Version)

16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the World

That He [even] gave up His only-begotten (unique) Son,

So that whoever believes in (trust, clings to , relies on) Him

SHALL NOT PERISH—COME TO DESTRUCTION, BE LOST--

But have Eternal (everlasting) life.

For God did not send the Son into the World

In order to Judge—To Reject, to Condemn,

To Pass Sentence on—The World;

But that the World might find Salvation

And be made Safe and Sound through Him.

17 He who Believes on Him—Who Clings to, Trust in , Relies on Him--

Is Not Judged (he who trust in Him never come up for Judgment;

For him there is No Rejection, No Condemnation;

He incurs No Damnation).

But he who does Not Believe

(Not Cleave to, Rely on, Trust in Him)

IS JUDGED ALREADY;

(He has already been Convicted;

Has already received his Sentence)

Because he has Not Believed on and Trusted in the Name

Of the only-begotten Son of God.--

HE IS CONDEMNED

FOR REFUSING TO LET HIS TRUST REST IN CHRIST'S NAME.

19 The [Basis of] the Judgment

(INDICTMENT, the Test by which men are Judged,

The Ground for the Sentence) lies in this:

THAT THE LIGHT IS COME INTO THE WORLD,

AND PEOPLE HAVE LOVED THE DARKNESS

Rather than and more than the LIGHT,

FOR THEIR WORKS (DEEDS) WERE EVIL. [Isa. 5:20.]

20 FOR EVERY WRONGDOER HATES (LOATHES, DETESTS) THE LIGHT

And will not come into the LIGHT,

But shrinks from it, lest his Works—

His Deeds, his Activities, his Conduct--

BE EXPOSED AND REPROVED.

21 But he who Practices TRUTH--

Who does what is Right--

Comes into the LIGHT;

So that his Works may be Plainly Shown

To be what they are,

WROUGHT WITH GOD--

Divinely Prompted, done with God's help,

IN DEPENDENCE UPON HIM.

Why do People love Darkness?

It is because they are Born into Darkness;

From birth they live in Darkness;

Ruled and Blinded by the “god” of this Age.

(2 Corinthians 4:4; 1 John 5:19)

The only event that changes this disposition

Is to be Born Again; Born into the Kingdom of LIGHT;

The Kingdom of God.

Which means leaving behind the kingdom of Satan;

The kingdom of the World

And entering into the Kingdom of God and living there.

To be Born Again is a Life Changing encounter with the Living God;

Where All things become New. Listen:

THEREFORE, IF ANY PERSON IS (INGRAFTED) IN CHRIST, THE MESSIAH,

HE IS (A NEW CREATURE ALTOGETHER,) A NEW CREATION;

The old (previous moral and spiritual condition)

Has Passed Away,

Behold, the Fresh and New Has Come!

The only people who do not love the Darkness

Are those who have been Born Again;

Those with Christ living In and Through them.

ALL ELSE IS DARKNESS,

As Christ Jesus is the only LIGHT that exists;

Without Him there would be No Light at all.

WE LIVE IN A WORLD THAT IS ENTIRELY DARKNESS, EVIL,

Except for those who have been Born Again;

Born of God and walking in the Light of God. (1 John 1:7)
