LESSONS FROM PHILIPPIANS 1

We learn that He, Who began a good work in us
Will carry it on to completion if we remain Faithful.

The Objective of our Faith is to remain Pure and Blameless
Until The Day of Christ, the day He Returns
To Reclaim the Earth He Created.

Paul's being in Chains for Christ
Was the Impetus for much Preaching of the Gospel,
Some out of Pure Motives and some out of Envy and Rivalry.

This unfortunate reality did not matter as Christ was being Preached
And God, the Evangelist, can use any Real Preaching to convert the Lost,
He is not Constrained by the actions of men.

Through the prayers of the Saints and the help of the Spirit
Paul understood that his Chains were part of the Will of God
For the furtherance of the Gospel.

Paul's prayer for himself was that he never be Ashamed
Of his own conduct but would have sufficient Courage
To continue to Proclaim the Gospel, regardless of the Conditions.

Paul states what is true for all of us:
TO LIVE IS CHRIST AND TO DIE IS GAIN.

We are here, and God has given us Faith,
TO CONTEND AS ONE MAN FOR THE GOSPEL
That some might be Saved.
This is a Sign to those who Oppose the Gospel
That they will be Destroyed
But that we will be Saved—And that by God.

We have been granted on behalf of Christ Jesus
Not only to Believe in Him,
But to Suffer for Him,
For to Believe in Him and live for Him,
Will Inevitably bring Suffering in this Wicked World ruled by Satan.
