HILLARY SENT 'MARKED CLASSIFIED' INFO TO NONSECURE ABEDIN ACCOUNT

WND report in September casts light on re-opened FBI probe

Jerome R. Corsi
NEW YORK – WND’s reporting in late August of a marked classified email Hillary Clinton forwarded to aide Huma Abedin could cast light on FBI Director James Comey’s dramatic disclosure to members of Congress Friday that the bureau had reopened its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server due to new information apparently discovered in the sexting probe of former Rep. Anthony Weiner, Abedin’s estranged husband.
Comey, however, said in his letter to Congress that he was only ‘briefed yesterday,’ meaning WND readers knew of the potential security breach two months before the director did.
As WND reported Sept. 8, Clinton forwarded an Aug. 8, 2009, email – clearly marked “Classified” – to a personal, nonsecure email address registered to aide Abedin, huma@clintonemail.com. Abedin then forwarded the message to another personal, nonsecure account, humamabedin@yahoo.com.
In sworn testimony before Congress, however, Clinton declared, “There was nothing marked classified on my emails, either sent or received.”
The 2009 email, sent to Clinton from longtime adviser Sidney Blumenthal, was discovered in a cache of emails obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. The exchange concerned the “disastrous nature” of an Obama trip to Germany, charging the U.S. was “totally out of the loop in Berlin – no ambassador,” resulting in the expectation that “Germans and Russians will now cut their own separate deals on energy, regional security, etc.”
In WND’s report of the marked classified email, Greg Davis, a U.S. Army veteran with more than 30 years experience as a military intelligence officer, told WND the handling of the message is “an obvious violation of national security regulations regarding the handling of classified information for which people normally go to prison.”
Davis, the creator of the intelligence-oriented website SpookdBlog.com, said that typically the Justice Department would grant Abedin immunity from prosecution in return for her willingness to turn state’s evidence against Clinton.
“If Huma refused to cooperate, the Department of Justice could threaten to seek a maximum prison term for her should their effort to bring a criminal prosecution against her succeed,” he said at the time.
The email containing marked classified information previously was released by the State Department, but it was unknown until the Judicial Watch released that Clinton forwarded the exchange to Abedin’s nonsecure, personal Yahoo account.

Davis’ LinkedIn biography reads: “30+ years in intelligence operations and analysis, with operational experience in every HUMINT (Human Intelligence) capacity including C1 (Command and Control), Special Operations, at the Defense Intelligence Agency and CIA, and analytical positions at Department of Defense, Defense Intelligence Agency, and State Department.”
Davis also holds a master’s degree in international economics from Georgetown University and the University of Oxford.

Heavily redacted
In the first of three reports on Abedin’s Yahoo account, WND reported Aug. 28 that of the more than 160 Abedin emails released by Judicial Watch, some 110 – two-thirds of the total – were forwarded by Abedin to personal addresses she controlled, humamabedin@[redacted] and habedin@[redacted].
Even more potentially damaging, of the 110 emails Abedin forwarded to her personal email servers, 45 were found by WND to have contained heavily redacted information, with some 20 of the emails 100 percent redacted. Many have a bold “PAGE DENIED” stamped on the page.
The private email address rendered humamabedin@[redacted] appears to be humamabedin@yahoo.com, as it appears in its entirety in one of the emails.
WND found that approximately 45 emails that Abedin forwarded to one of her two private email addresses were redacted,
On Aug. 14, 2015, the Washington Times reported that the State Department had admitted to a federal judge that Abedin and Mills used personal email accounts to conduct government business in addition to Clinton’s private clintonemail.com.
But until the Judicial Watch release at the end of August, there was no evidence Abedin had used her private email accounts as a forwarding address for State Department emails that contained sensitive material, including classified information.
It is not clear why Abedin found it necessary to forward State Department emails to her personal account.
Hillary’s chief of staff
On Sept. 6, WND reported Mills may have received classified national security information through one of two or three personal, unsecured email accounts she regularly used to communicate with Abedin.
The evidence was in a cache of emails released by Judicial Watch as well in Clinton-related emails attached as exhibits to the deposition Judicial Watch took with Mills in a lawsuit regarding Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state.
Mills appears to have used cheryl.mills@[redacted] as her primary private email address.
One heavily redacted email, dated May 15, 2009, was sent by Doug Band, head of the Clinton Foundation-linked Teneo consulting firm, to Mills at a personal address and to Abedin at her State Department address.
Band was forwarding to Mills and Abedin an email request from an associate who was seeking a State Department position in Charleston, South Carolina. Attached was a letter that the office-seeker had first sent to Bill Clinton containing the office-seeker’s résumé.

The email leaves little doubt Band enjoyed an easy email familiarity with Abedin and Mills, making a State Department job request on behalf of a Clinton Foundation and/or Teneo-related person.
The email from Band was completely redacted, except for a salutation and first sentence. The letter the office-seeker had sent to President Clinton, as well as the office-seeker’s résumé, was redacted except for a phrase that reads, “Well organized, driven professional.”
In various cases, one or more of Mills’ private emails can be found in email chains involving Abedin that Abedin subsequently emailed to herself.
A second email dated May 15, 2009, was sent by Abedin from her State Department email to her personal email, presumably humamabedin@yahoo.com. Abedin apparently was archiving in her personal email account an email Hillary Clinton sent her from Clinton’s private email server at HDR22@clintonemail.com. Abedin was asked to print out attachments to an email Mills sent via a private address the previous day to Clinton involving “timetables and deliverables” for her review via Alec Ross, a technology policy expert who then held the title of senior adviser for innovation to Secretary Clinton.
