THE PRESENCE OF GOD

The manifest Presence of God

Is the only thing that differentiates the people of God

From all the other people on the earth,

And all the other religions on the earth.

The Presence of God brings Victory for the people of God,

And Praise and Worship bring His Presence.

King Solomon dedicated the Temple at its completion,

And the Ark of the Covenant was placed in the Holy Place:

When the priests had come out of the Holy Place,

The Cloud filled the Lord's house.

So the priests could not stand to minister because of the Cloud,

For the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house. (1 Kings 8:10-11)

At the Battle of Armageddon, Christ Jesus defeats Satan

With the Splendor of His Presence and the word of His mouth.

(2 Thessalonians 2:8)

The Presence of the Lord parted the sea

As Moses stretched his hands to Heaven

And allowed the Israelites to cross over on dry land;

Scripture declares they were carried into the desert

On the wings of an eagle.

The “woman” of Revelation 12 is carried into the desert

On the wings of an eagle.

God's Presence was manifested in the Pillar of Cloud by day

And the Pillar of Fire by night.

The Ark of the Presence made a pathway

For the Israelites to cross over the Jordan River on dry land.

The priests bore the Ark of the Presence into the water

And the water parted.

Scripture declares the Fire of God is in Zion, the Israel of God,

The Bride of Christ, The Church of God;

The Fire of God emanates from His Presence.

Scripture declares that Jerusalem is God's Furnace

(The place where the Fire of God is generated);

The Holy Spirit generates the Fire of God.

Jerusalem becomes God's furnace as He inhabits her,

And within Her, produces His Fire.

This speaks of The New Jerusalem, The Bride of Christ,

His Eternal Dwelling.

Zion And The Tabernacle Of David

Zion was the Holy Hill upon which The Tabernacle of David was built;

It was also the atmosphere produced by God's unveiled Presence.

This was precursor to the Veil being Torn

At the crucifixion of Christ Jesus.

And the Ark of the Covenant, God's Presence,

Being made available to all believers.

At The Tabernacle of David God allowed His Presence to be unveiled

Because there was continuous worship.

The sweet Incense of this worship covered the Mercy Seat

And allowed His Presence to be unveiled.

In the New Covenant God promised to rebuild The Tabernacle of David.

God Is Enthroned On The Praises Of Israel,

But you are Holy, Enthroned in the Praises of Israel

(Psalm 22:3)

In the New Covenant, The Church of God is the Israel of God,

The Bride of Christ.

In the New Covenant all believers come through the only Way,

The only Truth and the only LIFE, Christ Jesus, by Faith;

And are washed in His shed blood;

Are baptized into His death, burial and resurrection;

Are baptized (immersed) in His Holy Spirit;

These people comprise the Israel of God, The Bride of Christ.

In The New Covenant,

God seeks those who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

Christ Jesus said to the woman at the well:

Believe me woman, a time is coming

When you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

You Samaritans worship what you do not know;

We worship what we do know;

Scripture declares that Jerusalem is God's Furnace

(The place where the Fire of God is generated);

The Holy Spirit generates the Fire of God.

God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship in Spirit and in Truth.

Worship in Spirit and in Truth

Means worshiping IN and THROUGH the Indwelling Spirit,

Christ in us the hope of Glory.

True worship builds an Altar to God,

And no altar to God can be touched by the hands of man [Exodus 20:25];

Worship must be “In the Spirit” and Of the Spirit.

Praise from a Consecrated people will allow access to the Courts of God,

But Intimate worship is the only access to the Holy of Holies.

Access to the Holy of Holies is by a Priest, who has washed himself,

Put on the clothing of Christ, and is Anointed with the Oil of the Spirit.

These Saints are the only ones

Who are able to create the sweet smelling Incense

That covers the Mercy Seat and allows God to manifest His Presence.

The apostle John was “In the Spirit” on the Lord's day

And received a great revelation, the Book of Revelation [Rev. 1:10].

Praise And Worship Bring His Presence

But you are Holy, Enthroned in the Praises of Israel (The Bride of Christ)

(Psalm 22:3)

[The Spirit Filled LIFE Bible, New King James Version

Says the following about this verse:

22:3 - Since God is enthroned in the praises,

Worship is the key to entering fully into His Presence.

The concept here is that praise releases God's Glory,

Thus bringing to the worshipers actualized responses of His kingly reign.

His Enthroned responses through the Holy Spirit can take many forms,

Such as prophecy, healings, miracles, affirmation to individual hearts,

A call to reverential silence and awe, conviction of sin, and salvation of sinners.

This verse should be a guiding goal

For all personal and corporate worship times.

22:3 - Praise, the Pathway to God's Presence, PRAISE PATHWAY.

Unquestionably, one of the most remarkable and exciting things about honest

And sincere praise is taught here:

Praise will bring the presence of God.

Although God is everywhere present, 

There is a distinct manifestation of His Rule,

Which enters the environment of praise.

Here is the remedy for times when you feel depressed.

Praise! However simply, compose your song and testimony

Of God's goodness in your life.

The result: God enters! His presence will live (take up residence) in our lives.

The word “inhabit” (Hebrew yawshab) means

“To sit down, to remain, to settle, or marry.”

In other words, God does not merely visit us when we praise Him,

But His presence abides with us

And we partner with him in a growing relationship!

Let this truth create Faith and Trust,

And lead to deliverance from satanic harassments, torment, or bondage.

Notice how this text ties three words together: “praises,” “trusted,”

And “delivered”!]

God Has Ordained Praise and Worship

To Silence The Foe And Avenger

From the lips of children and infants you have Ordained Praise

Because of your Enemies,

To Silence the Foe and the Avenger. (Psalm 8:2)

God Seeks Those Who Will Worship In Spirit And In Truth

Jesus said to the woman at the well:

Believe me woman, a time is coming

When you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

You Samaritans worship what you do not know;

We worship what we do know;

For salvation is from the Jews.

Yet a time is coming and has now come

When the True worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth,

For they are the kind of worshipers the Father Seeks.

God is Spirit, and his worshipers must worship in Spirit and in Truth.

Worship In Spirit and In Truth brings the Presence of God,

Who Indwells the Praises of His People,

Which brings all the manifestations of the Gifts of the Spirit.
