THE ELECT OF GOD

The Elect of God are the only ones who make it out of this World Alive.

They are the only ones whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of LIFE.

(Revelation 13:8)

The Elect of God are the only ones Not Deceived

When False Christs and False Prophets appear

And perform great signs and miracles. (Matthew 24:24)

The apostle Paul speaks of the Elect in this way:

Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Who has Blessed us with Every Spiritual Blessing IN CHRIST.

FOR HE CHOSE US IN HIM BEFORE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD

To be Holy and Blameless in His Sight.

In love He Predestined us to be Adopted as His Sons Through Jesus Christ,

In accordance with His Pleasure and Will--

To the Praise of His Glorious Grace,

Which He has Freely given us in the One He loves.

IN HIM WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD,

The Forgiveness of Sins,

In accordance with the Riches of God's Grace

That He Lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.

And He made Known the Mystery of His Will

According to His Good Pleasure,

Which He Purposed IN CHRIST,

TO BE PUT INTO EFFECT

WHEN THE TIMES WILL HAVE REACHED THEIR FULFILLMENT--

To bring ALL THINGS in Heaven and on Earth TOGETHER

Under one Head, EVEN CHRIST.

IN HIM we were also Chosen,

HAVING BEEN PREDESTINED ACCORDING TO THE PLAN OF HIM

Who Works out Everything in Conformity with the Purpose of His Will,

In order that WE, who were the First to Hope IN CHRIST,

Might be for the Praise of His Glory.

And you also were INCLUDED IN CHRIST

When you heard THE WORD OF TRUTH,

The Gospel of your Salvation.

HAVING BELIEVED, YOU WERE MARKED IN HIM WITH A SEAL,

The Promised Holy Spirit,

WHO IS A DEPOSIT GUARANTEEING OUR INHERITANCE

Until the Redemption of those who are GOD'S POSSESSION--

To the Praise of His Glory.

(Ephesians 1:3-14)

The Elect of God are Holy and Blameless in the Sight of God;

They are Predestined according to God's Plan;

They are those God Foreknew would Chose to Believe in Christ

And to be Conformed To Christ;

Those who would be Crucified with Christ to this Wicked World

And no longer live,

But allow Christ to live in them.

This life that they live on Earth,

They live by Faith in the Son of God

And His Power at work in them.

They have Set their Hearts on Thing Above;

Their lives have been Hidden with Christ in God;

They have Clothed themselves with the Garments of Christ

And let His Word dwell richly in them.

They are those who Overcome Satan

By the blood of the Lamb

And the word of their Testimony,

Not loving this life so much as to shrink from Death.

(Revelation 12:11)

The Elect have been Born Again:

I tell you the Truth,

Unless a man is Born of Water and the Spirit,

He cannot Enter the Kingdom of God.

Flesh give birth to Flesh,

BUT THE SPIRIT GIVES BIRTH TO SPIRIT.

You should not be surprised at My saying,

'YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.'

(John 3:5-8)

The Elect are those who have ears to hear

What the Spirit says to the Churches.

They are those who Overcome the Evil One,

And therefore, have been given by Christ,

The Right to the Tree Of LIFE,

Which is in the Paradise of God.

(Revelation 2:7)

The Elect are those who can say along with the Psalmist David:

One thing I ask of the Lord,

This is what I Seek:

That I may Dwell in the House of the Lord

All the days of my life,

To Gaze upon the Beauty of the Lord

And to Seek Him in His Temple.

(Psalm 27:4)

Whom have I in Heaven but You?

And being with You,

I desire Nothing on Earth.

(Psalm 73:25)

I said to the Lord, 'You are my Lord;

Apart from You I have No Good Thing.'

(Psalm 16:2)
