FATAH CARTOON: JEWS CAUSE WORLD TERROR

Expresses 'libel that Israel seeks to destroy the Muslim world'

Bob Unruh
A new cartoon from Fatah is the newest episode of libel against Jews, with the image of a “Jew with a large nose” who was “using a remote control” to set off explosions.
The cartoon was uncovered by Palestinian Media Watch, which said the man in an armchair, “wearing a kippah (Jewish skullcap),” sits and views “the destruction as if watching TV.”
“The cartoon expresses a libel often voiced by Palestinian leaders that Israel and Jews are responsible for world terror. It was posted on the official website of Fatah’s Mobilization and Organization Commission,” said the report from Nan Jacques Zilberdik.
The online report said another cartoon with a similar theme was posted recently by another component of Fatah, showing a long-nosed Jew lighting a fuse to blow up a bomb.
“Inside the bomb, a Shiite Muslim and a Sunni Muslim are both lying atop bombs, lighting fuses to blow up one other. This cartoon expresses the libel that Jews/Israel seek to destroy the Muslim world, and that they are taking advantage of internal Muslim fighting to do so,” the report said.
The practice of making wild accusations charging the most extreme horrors has been traced back to at least the Middle Ages and has been found in places as high as the United Nations.
Just last year the Palestinian Authority claimed Israeli rabbis are calling on Jews to poison Palestinian wells.
The report came from the Palestinian Media Watch, where Itamar Marcus cited a recent “official PA TV News” report where a reporter said, “An Israeli human rights organization has exposed a religious ruling issued by Rabbi Shlomo Melamed (sic), chairman of the Council of Settlement Rabbis (sic), that gave the settlers permission to poison the drinking water and the natural wells in the [Palestinian] villages and towns throughout the West Bank.”
The Palestinian organization even warned there will be thousands of Palestinian deaths.
“What is the international community waiting for to interfere; the death of thousands of Palestinians of thirst? To meet such incident with silence and ignore the war Israel is waging against Palestinians is a cause of shame for the international community,” PMW reported the statement from the PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
But there is no Rabbi Shlomo Melamed, and there is no Council of Settlement Rabbis, and there is no effort by Israelis to poison any wells, the report reveals.
PMW reported the “latest blood libel” got its start with Yehuda Shaul of the “extreme left-wing Israeli NGO called Breaking the Silence” who claimed in a private lecture Israeli settlers had “poisoned” water in a Palestinian town years ago causing the Palestinians to leave.
Then, PMW reported, the Palestinian Liberation Organization rewrote the story to allege Israelis are now, in 2016, poisoning all the water sources in the West Bank.
They made up a name and the result is, from the PLO, “An Israeli human rights organization has exposed that Jewish settlers are working intently on poisoning the drinking water in the Palestinian towns and villages throughout the West Bank.
Yehuda Shaul, founder of the organization Breaking the Silence… said that the goal of poisoning the water is to cause ‘the local Palestinians to leave their villages and towns, so that the settlers will be able to take control of their lands.’…”
Ultimately, the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Foreign adopted the assumption the reports are fact and condemns the “international community” for its “silence.”
Finally, PMW reported, “Official PA TV News … further expanded the libel, saying that it was not a single rabbi but an entire rabbinic council that recently made the decision. It further expanded the libel by explaining the Israeli motivation to poison the water: Kill Palestinians and force them to emigrate.”
WND reported months earlier when a Hamas leader in Gaza claimed Jews held a belief in using the blood of Christian children to make Passover Matzah, “essentially reviving the old ‘blood libel’ which dates back to the Middle Ages in Europe.”
And WND reported in 2014 when Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations has called out the world body for allowing blood libel within its ranks.
Reuters reported Ambassador Danny Danon addressed the issue in a letter to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
Danon demanded a condemnation from the U.N. on claims made by Riyad Mansour, the chief Palestinian delegate.
“This blood libel by the Palestinian representative exposes his anti-Semitic motives and his true colors,” Danon said in the letter.
That Jewish “blood libel” is an old anti-Semitic trope that claims Jews drink Christian and Muslim blood.
“Anti-Semitism has no place in the halls of the United Nations and must be denounced,” Danon said. “I call on you to repudiate this sinister accusation and to condemn the ongoing incitement by Palestinian leaders.”
Mansour’s claims came in a letter to British Ambassador Matthew Rycroft, head of the Security Council at the time.
He claimed Israelis harvested body parts of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces.
Mansour’s letter said, Reuters reported, “After returning the seized bodies of Palestinians killed by the occupying forces through October, and following medical examinations, it has been reported that the bodies were returned with missing corneas and other organs.”
Such blood libels have been commonly used to attack Israel over the years.
WND reported earlier when Laurie Cardoza-Moore, founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, went to the Vatican to try to convince the Catholic Church to dust off the long-forgotten Nostra Aetate document and proclaim its truths with renewed vigor.
The document, signed by Pope Paul VI in 1965, states that the Catholic church not only acknowledged that the Jews were not responsible for the death of Jesus, it also recognized that the Jewish covenant with God for the land of Israel had not been broken, and it stated that Christianity sprang from Jewish roots.
A competing document, the “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion,” is a proven hoax that was put out by anonymous Jew haters in 1903, she said.
It has been used over and over to attack Jews.
“Protocols” claimed that Jews harbored an ancient secret plan to take over the world and were the source of all the world’s problems. Henry Ford funded the printing of 500,000 copies in the United States in the 1920s and Hitler had the book taught as fact in German schools in the 1930s. Today, the book is used in the schools of many Muslim countries and is widely available on the Internet.
The ripples from its teaching continue.
For example, a Common Core lesson plan required eighth-grade students in a California school district to question whether the Holocaust actually happened.
The eight-page assignment asked students to weigh arguments on whether the Holocaust was an “actual event” or a “propaganda tool that was used for monetary gain.” It was justified as an exercise in “critical thinking.”

My comments: The World HATES God and His Word because God tells the World that what it does is Evil [John 7:7], and therefore it HATES the Jews and Christians--The World that is RULED by Satan. (1 John 5:19) Islam, part of the World, is the most Anti-Jewish, Anti-Christian Religion on Earth.
