LIVING IN GOD'S SECRET PLACE

Come to Me, All you who Labor
And are Heavy-laden and Overburdened,
And I will Cause you to Rest--
I will Ease and Relieve and Refresh your Souls.

Take My Yoke upon you, and Learn of Me;
For I AM Gentle (meek) and Humble (lowly) in Heart,
And you will find Rest—Relief, Ease and Refreshment
And Recreation and Blessed Quiet—For your Souls.

For My Yoke is Wholesome (useful, good)--
Not harsh, Hard, Sharp or Pressing,
But Comfortable, Gracious and Pleasant;
My Burden is Light and Easy to be Borne.
(Matthew 11:28-30, AMP)

Where is Christ Jesus Inviting us to Come?
It is to His Secret Place. Listen:

He who lives in the Secret Place of the Most High
Shall remain Stable and Fixed under the Shadow of the Almighty
[Whose Power no Foe can withstand].

I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress,
My God, on Him I Lean and Rely,
And In Him I (confidently) Trust!
(Psalm 91:1,2, AMP)

No , but [the Lord will teach the Rebels in a more Humiliating Way]
By men with Stammering Lips and another Tongue
Will He speak to this People
[Says Isaiah, and teach them His Lessons].

To these [complaining Jews the Lord] had said,
THIS IS THE TRUE REST
[The Way to True Comfort and Happiness]
That you shall give to the Weary,
AND THIS IT THE TRUE REFRESHING.
Yet they would Not Listen [to His Teaching].
(Isaiah 28:11,12,AMP)

For I will [fully] Satisfy the Weary Soul,
And I will Replenish every Languishing and Sorrowful person.
(Jeremiah 31:25, AMP)

Keep and Guard me as the Pupil of the Eye;
Hide me in the Shadow of your Wings.
(Psalm 17:8, AMP)

For in The Day of Trouble He will Hide me in His Shelter;
IN THE SECRET PLACE OF HIS TENT WILL HE HIDE ME;
He will Set me High upon a rock.
(Psalm 27:5, AMP)

IN THE SECRET OF YOUR PRESENCE
You Hide them from the Plots of men;
You Keep them Secretly in Your Pavilion
From the Strife of Tongues.
(Psalm 31:20, AMP)

YOU ARE A HIDING PLACE FOR ME;
You, Lord, Preserve me from Trouble;
You surround me with Songs and Shouts of Deliverance.
Selah [pause, and think calmly of that]!
(Psalm 32:7,AMP)

I will lift up my eyes to the Hills
[around Jerusalem, to Sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah].
From whence shall my Help Come? [Jer. 3:23.]

My Help comes from the Lord,
Who made Heaven and Earth.

He will Not Allow your foot to Slip or to be Moved;
He Who Keeps you will Not Slumber.
[1 Sam. 2:9; Prov. 3:23,26; Ps. 127:1; Isa. 27:3.]

Behold, He Who Keeps Israel will neither Slumber nor Sleep.

The Lord is your Keeper;
The Lord is your Shade on your right hand
[The side not carrying a shield]. [Isa. 25:4.]

The sun shall not smite you by day,
Nor the moon by night. [Ps. 91:5; Isa. 49:10; Rev. 7:16.]

THE LORD WILL KEEP YOU FROM ALL EVIL;
He will Keep your life.

The Lord will Keep your going out and your coming in
From this time forth and For Evermore. [Deut. 28:6; Prov. 2:8; 3:6.]
(Psalm 21, AMP)

YOU WILL SHOW ME THE PATH OF LIFE;
In Your Presence is Fullness of Joy,
At Your Right Hand there are Pleasures For Evermore.
[Acts 2:25-28, 31.]
