Founding Fathers Quotes About Homosexual Sin

All Our Founding Fathers Opposed Homosexual Sin:
Fearing God, and wanting the USA to be blessed by God and not cursed, our Founding Fathers made Christian laws for our nation. God says, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination” (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:22-32).
George Washington court martialed homosexuals. He forbid this sin in the military. Giving the order to drum out a soldier accused of sodomy, the greatest American said:
“…the Commander in Chief… with Abhorrence and Detestation of such Infamous Crimes [sodomy]…”
The full quote is:
“His Excellency the Commander in Chief [George Washington] approves the sentence and with Abhorrence and Detestation of such Infamous Crimes [sodomy] orders Lieutt. Enslin to be drummed out of Camp tomorrow morning by all the Drummers and Fifers in the Army never to return; The Drummers and Fifers to attend on the Grand Parade at Guard mounting for that Purpose.”
Like many of our Founding Fathers, George Washington was too pure in thinking to use the word “sodomy” or “buggery”, so he said “infamous crime”.
God calls those rejecting Him “haters of God” (Romans 1:30).
Noah Webster, the Schoolmaster of the Republic, wrote in the 1828 Webster’s Dictionary that homosexual sin was against nature as God says in Romans 1. Noah Webster instructed Americans in the dictionary with:
“Sodomy: A crime against nature.”
The 1833 Encyclopedia Britannica taught:
“The nameless crime, which was the disgrace of Greek and Roman civilization…”
Our Founding Fathers taught their children to be Christians. And God blessed the USA for obeying Him.
Jude 7, 2 Peter 2:6, Leviticus 18:25 and other Bible verses say that God judges homosexual societies. History proves this. None remain. There are significant homosexual health dangers. CDC reports that one in five homosexual have HIV. The average age of death for a homosexual is 42 years old (Cameron). There are other diseases and depression that are common to homosexuals studies show. This is why God’s love to forgive sin gives us hope. You can be born again by calling on Jesus Christ.

All 13 Colonies & All 50 States outlawed homosexual sin. Homosexuals are shamed throughout American history because God says such sin is an abomination and shameful in Leviticus 18 and Romans 1.
Thomas Jefferson authored a bill to castrate rapists and homosexuals.. Jefferson’s bill didn’t become law but shows his disapproval of sexual sins. He wrote:
“Crimes whose punishment goes to LIMB. 1. Rape 2. Sodomy } Dismemberment.”
While some of the early colonial laws had significant penalties, even the death penalty, for some sins as an effort to keep families strong as they settled, later the penalties were lessened to match the New Testament, not the Old Testament.
The Ninth Law Made in America with the Laws of Virginia 1610 that included the death penalty is:
“No man shall commit the horrible and detestable sins of sodomy [homosexuality]…”
New York’s law and other states included the death penalty. New York’s law said:
“That if any man shall lie with mankind as he lieth with womankind, both of them have committed abomination…”
Rightfully so, the death penalties were removed in later laws, as George Washington court martialed homosexuals and forbade them from being in the military.
It is important to ask: What is God plan for holy marriage? God’s purpose for men is to love their wife and to train children in Christ (Ephesians 5:22-6:4).
Can you see that trying to “change” things in the USA rejects both God and our Founding Fathers? You either have Christianity and the real USA or you have the world and sin.
God says, “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil” (Proverbs 8:13). You have to make a decision today. Will you serve God or sin (John 14:21, Psalm 33:12…)? Are you on God’s side?
All sin can be forgiven because of Jesus dying on the cross. Think how Jesus came to call sinners to repentance.Jesus simply says, “repent” to sinners. Jesus gave remarkable compassion to the woman caught in adultery. He forgave her, saying, “go, and sin no more” (John 8:11).
God’s forgiveness for all sin is seen in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. God says:
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators… nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites… And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”
Will you call on Jesus to save you from your sin, whether your sins are lies, gossip,  sexual sins or other sins? Will you place your faith in Jesus Christ and repent from your sin?
Your Christian life is strengthened by praying and reading the Holy Bible daily. Many Christians pray and read a chapter or more of the Holy Bible when they wake up and before they go to bed.
