Kinchlow exposes truth about party’s racist past

Black Americans may have gained their freedom 151 years ago, but today they live under a different type of slavery, according to the founder of Americans for Israel. It’s a slavery arising from dependence on one political party for handouts.

“When Lyndon Johnson came to power, blacks, who traditionally voted 95 percent Republican, suddenly switched over to the Democrats,” Ben Kinchlow told WND. “Why? Because now the Democrats were promising to give them all this free stuff, and it’s a hard thing to get people to turn down free stuff.”

Kinchlow, who cohosts “FrontPage Jerusalem’ and previously cohosted CBN’s “The 700 Club,” explained there were two types of slaves in the old American South – house slaves and field slaves.

Field slaves, who lived miserable lives of hard outdoor labor, were always looking for the chance to escape. House slaves, on the other hand, wore their master’s cast-off clothes and received free meals left over from the master’s table. When field slaves would say, “Let’s run,” the house slaves would say, “Run where? Where are we going to get something better than this?”

So it is with modern-day black people, according to Kinchlow.

“Today you find the African-American community saying, ‘Why should I go to people that are going to make me self-reliant when I can just stay here in the Democrat Party and they will reward me for doing nothing?'” Kinchlow said.

It’s ironic that blacks overwhelmingly support the Democratic Party because Democrats have a long history of suppressing blacks, as Kinchlow revealed in his 2013 book “Black Yellowdogs.” Now acclaimed filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza has also picked up on this theme in his new movie “Hillary’s America,” which hits theaters Friday. The movie, according to D’Souza’s website, “sheds light on the Democrats’ transition from pro-slavery to pro-enslavement.”

D’Souza bills this as the “secret history” of the Democratic Party, but it’s a history Kinchlow chronicled previously in “Black Yellowdogs.” He wrote about the Democrats’ hundred-year history of obstruction – all civil rights legislation from 1865 to 1965 was passed over the objections of Democrats. Every civil rights initiative during that period, from the Civil Rights Act of 1866 to the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the Civil Rights Act of 1875, was proposed and passed by Republicans. Democrats did manage to successfully block at least three federal anti-lynching measures during this period.In fact, as Kinchlow noted, it was the GOP that shepherded the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Voting Rights Act of 1965 through Congress and forced them onto President Lyndon Johnson’s desk. Johnson attached his name and his party to their legacy by signing them into law.

Not only did the Democrats try to derail civil rights legislation, but they introduced segregation, Jim Crow laws and various other forms of discrimination against blacks. In fact, as Kinchlow wrote in “Black Yellowdogs,” “Historical facts from original sources, along with documented research, show that the Democratic Party has perpetrated virtually every anti-black, pro-segregation legislative initiative from 1871 to 1965.”

The Ku Klux Klan was a significant Democratic constituency, Kinchlow revealed, helping to elect legislators, sheriffs, judges and mayors who went on to become Klan members. Meanwhile, Klansmen targeted white Republicans for being “n—- lovers” who wanted to help blacks secure their constitutionally guaranteed rights.

Unfortunately, as Kinchlow acknowledged, not enough blacks know the sordid history of the Democratic Party regarding race relations.

“One of the transcendent principles [in the Bible] is, when you know what the truth is, truth sets you free,” Kinchlow declared. “Blacks do not know what the truth is.”

Kinchlow, a WND columnist, blamed the media for failing to report the true history of U.S. race relations. He pointed out the Founding Fathers established freedom of the press in the First Amendment so the press would be free to report the truth, thus keeping the American people accurately and adequately informed. Unfortunately, in the 1960s an infiltration began.

The liberals, the hippie guys, went into two areas,” Kinchlow explained. “They went into education and they went into the media, and unfortunately the media has transgressed, become a leftist-leaning organization, and that’s why the American people do not know what the real facts are. What they’re getting is propaganda.”

Kinchlow predicted the media will make it very difficult for blacks to abandon the Democratic Party in large numbers. Although Donald Trump may speak of making America great again, the press will portray him as a rich guy who wants to help his fellow whites while discriminating against blacks. Kinchlow pointed out Hillary Clinton has already started using “anti-normal people” rhetoric against Donald Trump, suggesting Trump is a billionaire who only cares about the wealthy.

“That’s unfortunate what the blacks are going to be told and taught, and it’s going to be a very difficult thing to get them to come to the point where they see what the real truth is, because what made America great is the fact that everybody has a chance to be great in America,” Kinchlow proclaimed.

While blacks give the overwhelming majority of their votes to Democrats, the Democrats are not actually interested in helping them become self-sufficient and improve their lives, according to Kinchlow. Just as Democrats in the 1800s wanted to keep blacks on the plantation, he said, Democrats today want to keep blacks on the voting plantation. And the way they keep blacks voting Democrat is by keeping them dependent on government handouts that Democrats are eager to provide.

“Remember, blacks at one point in time, up to Lyndon Johnson’s time, blacks voted 90 percent Republican,” Kinchlow disclosed. “Now they vote 90 percent Democrat. The Democrats are not going to do anything economically to change that, nor are they going to do anything that says to blacks, ‘You are going to be responsible for yourselves.’ They’re saying, ‘We’ll take care of you. All you have to do is just keep voting Democrat.'”
