TIM TEBOW HAILED FOR PRAYER AID TO AIRPLANE PASSENGER
'He made a stand for God in a difficult situation'

Tim Tebow, former NFL star who made a name for himself, in part, for his public displays of love for God, was hailed as somewhat of a hero for joining in a prayer vigil for a man who suddenly took ill on a Delta Airlines flight and slid into a near-death experience.
Passenger Richard Gotti, in a Facebook post, detailed the setting.
“I have to share this story! I was traveling on Delta … when there was a medical emergency on board,” he wrote. “An older gentleman began having what appeared to be heart problems and he went unconscious. I watched strangers from all over the world and every ethnicity come to the help of this man for over an hour! Whether it was chest compressions, starting an IV, helping breathe life into this man, or praying, everyone helped.”
Still, the man gave no pulse, Gotti said.
“[But] no one gave up,” he went on. “I observed people praying and lifting this man up to the Lord in a way that I’ve never seen before. The crew of Delta Airlines were amazing. They acted in a fast and professional manner!”
And then, Tebow entered the scene, he said.
“All of a sudden,” Gotti went on, “I observed a guy walking down the aisle. That guy was Tim Tebow. He met with the family as they cried on his shoulder! I watched Tim pray with the entire section of the plane for this man. He made a stand for God in a difficult situation.”
Gotti said as soon as the plane touched down in Phoenix, Arizona, the man’s pulse returned.
“Pray for this man,” he wrote, “and his family, and also thank God that we still have people of faith who in times of difficulty look to the Lord!”
Brian Kruse, Delta spokesman, said in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that “Delta professionals” and “our customers” were “quick to extend kindness and care.”
The airline wouldn’t release information about any passengers, including Tebow, but a woman posted on Instagram a photo of the former football star, alongside this text: “I sat right behind #timtebow on my @delta to #Phoenix. We had a medical emergency on the flight. Tim helped the family deplane with their baggage.”
And another passenger, who only went by the name Sonal, told NBC News: “It was Tim Tebow, absolutely.”
Sonal also said Tebow had been sitting in business class, but heard of the medical emergency and walked back to help.
“He was helping, consoling the family,” Sonal said, to NBC News.
