ONE NATION HAVING ABANDONED GOD--LAWLESS

March 22, 2016
The faithful consent of One Nation Under God
By A.J. Castellitto

"To give a man full knowledge of morality, I would send him to no other book than the New Testament... The Bible is one of the greatest blessings bestowed by God on the children of men. It has God for its author; salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture for its matter. It is all pure."
Natural law (directly derived from God's moral law) and the conservative virtues of restraint, responsibility, and moderation are the foundations of civil society.
Man must cease profiting from things that are harmful for people (and society as a whole) and start recognizing the many dangers that threaten both body and soul in our day.

I'm not saying we need to legislate these things. What I am saying is that every one of us needs to consider their responsibility to themselves and their fellow man. Instead of just making laws, we must guard against the harmful effects that are brought into society when various 'social pollutants' are marketed, endorsed, and embraced.
"The unregulated passions precipitate one into a rush for immediate gratifications with no thought for the future. Reason alone can strike a suitable balance between the claims of many conflicting goods."

We must help establish a protective wall around these snares by spiritually empowering minds and hearts. In particular, children who are lovingly taught in their youth the need for caution and restraint will be better able to avoid pitfalls – and recover when they do stumble. Meanwhile, those who are raised on spiritual and moral neutrality are more easily prone to insurmountable social snares.
Why are we, as a nation, losing the spiritual battle?
Compromise... Not standing on principles.... Not standing our ground.
It all stems from the damming tolerance of our politically correct culture. But we let it happen. The door was opened on our watch.
We should be promoting values, ethics, and morals. We should be a living example in society; however, we cannot do so without revealing the true source of all virtue.
These virtues are founded on God's moral law. Our rule of law, the Constitution, cannot be faithfully held outside of this vital foundation. This is the case we must continue to make. We have eternal truth on our side. Why should there be a private 'us' and a public 'us'? We will not be silenced.
The only reason we know, in our hearts, that murder is wrong is because our God-given consciences makes it known to us. The golden rule (i.e. 'do unto others as you would have done unto you') is merely a Christless perversion of God's moral law. But in reality, we cannot pick and choose what aspects of God's law we find most useful.

In many instances, it's a shameless and godless promotion of lust, rebellion, envy, desire, disobedience, greed, and power that leads (whether consciously or unconsciously) to theft, seduction, deceit, dishonor, oppression, humiliation, exploitation, and even murder, as a means to an ends. A godless society is prone to selfish pursuits of pleasure and achievement, at all costs.

Left to ourselves, we are spiritually resistant and wholly corruptible. We need to be taught and disciplined with love and compassion. We may then be better prepared to show charity to our neighbor.
"An excellent man, like precious metal, is in every way invariable; A villain, like the beams of a balance, is always varying, upwards and downwards." *
In good conscience, I cannot vote for a candidate whose ideology is a gross violation of natural law.
A 'light in the darkness' is what we should be and what we should represent.
By taking God out of society, we render all laws useless. The lying, cheating, and arbitrary ways of our godless and repressive administration underscore this reality. This is also why modern libertarianism and small, responsible government are mutually exclusive.
In the end, society demands that unlawful behaviors be reined in. A godless society cannot maintain itself. This reality provides justification for the formation of a repressive and tyrannical police state.

Historically, traditional family and vibrant Christianity have remained the consistent hallmarks of a healthy community. It is when we fail to faithfully uphold these foundations that our nation suffers.
God's natural law trumps the religion of secular humanism, as proposed by the Humanist Manifesto. A gathering of faithful and God-fearing men of character and virtue is what we need to reclaim our nation!

Peace and goodwill cannot be sustained unless we once again harken unto God. May we remember each other in prayer and ask the Lord for a national (but more importantly a spiritual) restoration.

My comments: Today we live in a Lawless America, with those in Government the most Lawless. God's Law has been replace with Moral Relativism and the Religion of Secular Humanism, in which every person does that which is right in their own eyes as long as the STATE approves--A sure Prescription for Disaster.
