HE KEPT THE FAITH

Our pastor died yesterday;

Pastor Loren Hamar.

Yet in reality he did not Die,

In Fact, he was Swallowed up by LIFE. (2 Corinthians 5:4)

He was a man of God, and still is a man of God

He is simply in a different Realm, the Eternal Realm of God.

He, like the apostle Paul, can say:

I was poured out like a Drink Offering

And the time came for my Departure.

I Fought the Good Fight,

And Finished my Race.

I KEPT THE FAITH!

Now he has received his Crown of Righteousness,

From the hand of the Lord, the Righteous Judge;

It has been Awarded to him,

And will be awarded to ALL who Long for His Appearing.

(2 Timothy 4:6-8)

Those of us who remain,

DO NOT GRIEVE LIKE THE REST OF MEN WHO HAVE NO HOPE.

Listen to the apostle Paul:

Brothers, we do not want you to be Ignorant

About those who Fall Asleep,

Or Grieve like the rest of men, who have No Hope.

We believe that Jesus Died and Rose Again

And we believe that God will bring with Jesus

Those who have Fallen Asleep IN HIM.

According to the Lord's own Word,

We tell you that we who are Still Alive ,

Who are left till the Coming of the Lord,

Will certainly not Precede those who have Fallen Asleep.

For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven,

With a Loud Command,

With the Voice of the Archangel

And with the Trumpet Call of God,

And the Dead IN CHRIST will Rise First.

After that, we who are still Alive and are left

Will be Caught up with them in the Clouds

TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR.

And so we will be with the Lord FOREVER.

Therefore, Encourage each other with these words.

(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

Fight the good Fight of Faith.

TAKE HOLD OF THE ETERNAL LIFE TO WHICH YOU WERE CALLED

When you made your good Confession

In the Presence of many Witnesses.

In the Sight of God, Who gives Life to Everything,

And of Christ Jesus, Who while Testifying before Pontius Pilate

Made The Good Confession,

I Charge you to Keep this Commandment

Without Spot or Blame

Until the Appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Which God will bring about In His Own TIME--

God, the Blessed and Only Ruler,

The King of kings and Lord of lords,

WHO ALONE IS IMMORTAL

And Who lives in Unapproachable LIGHT,

Whom No One has seen or can see.

To Him be Honor and Might Forever. Amen.
