IMITATING CHRIST'S HUMILITY

IF you have any encouragement from being United with Christ,

IF any Comfort from His Love,

IF any Tenderness and Compassion,

THEN make my joy complete by being Like-Minded,

Having the same Love,

Being One in Spirit and Purpose.

Do Nothing out of Selfish Ambition or Vain Conceit,

BUT IN HUMILITY CONSIDER OTHERS BETTER THAN YOURSELVES.

Each of you should look not only to your own Interests,

But also to the Interests of others.

YOUR ATTITUDE SHOULD BE THE SAME AS THAT OF CHRIST JESUS;

Who being in very Nature God,

Did not consider Equality with God something to be Grasped,

But Made Himself NOTHING,

Taking the Very Nature of a Servant,

Being made in Human Likeness.

And being found in Appearance as a man,

HE HUMBLED HIMSELF

And became Obedient to Death--

Even Death on a Cross!

THEREFORE GOD EXALTED HIM TO THE HIGHEST PLACE

And gave Him the Name that is Above Every Name,

That at the Name of Jesus

EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW,

In Heaven and on Earth and under the Earth,

AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD;

To the Glory of the Father.

(Philippians 2:1-11)

WHOEVER CLAIMS TO LIVE IN HIM

Must walk as Jesus did.

(1 John 2:6)

For us, as Followers of Christ Jesus

We must count this World, of which America is a part,

As NOTHING, in Comparison to being Found IN HIM.

In this World the only Truth to be Found is IN HIM.

In this World the only LIFE to be Found is IN HIM.

HE IS THE ONLY WAY!

There is No Other!

This Christmas let us be United With Christ

Being of One Mind,

And Experience His Comfort, Love, Tenderness and Compassion.

Being One in Spirit and Purpose.

Christ left the Glory of Heaven to make a Way for us.

Let us Separate ourselves from the False Glory of Earth

And Enter Fully into the Kingdom of God;

The Eternal Realm of God.

Let us Fix our eyes on Jesus,

The Author and Perfecter of our Faith,

Who for the Joy set before Him [His Bride]

Endured the Cross, Scorning its Shame,

And sat down at the Right Hand of the Throne of God.

Consider Him Who Endured such Opposition from Sinful men,

So that you will Not Grow Weary and Lose Heart.

(Hebrews 12:2, 3)

Christ Jesus is the Joy set before each of us.

Let us take hold of Him and Not Let Go!
