AMERICA, LISTEN TO THE SOVEREIGN LORD

Listen to the Lord speak about another nation

That defied the Living God.

Substitute America for Moab and see what lies ahead for America

If she continues to defy Him.

The fall of America is at hand; her calamity will come quickly.

Console her, all who live around her, all who know her fame;

Say, 'How broken is the mighty scepter, how broken the glorious staff.

(Jeremiah 48:16-17)

Make her drunk, for she has defied the Lord.

Let America wallow in her vomit; let her be an object of ridicule.

(Jeremiah 48:26)

'We have heard of America's pride—her overweening pride and conceit,

Her pride and arrogance and the haughtiness of her heart.

I know her insolence but it is futile,' declares the Lord, '

'And her boasts accomplish nothing.' (Jeremiah 48:29-30)

Joy and gladness are gone from the orchards and fields of America.

I have stopped the flow of wine from the presses;

No one treads them with shouts of joy.

Although there are shouts, they are not shouts of joy. (Jeremiah 48:33)

'In America I will put and end

To those who make offerings on the high places

And burn incense to their gods,' declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 48:35)

'So my heart laments for America like a flute;

It laments like a flute for the men of New York City.

The wealth they acquired is gone.

Every head is shaved and every beard cut off;

Every hand is slashed and every waist is covered with sackcloth.

On all the house tops in America and in the public squares

There is nothing but mourning, for I have broken America

Like a jar that no one wants,' declares the Lord.

How shattered she is! How they wail!

America has become an object of ridicule,

An object of horror to all those around her.' (Jeremiah 48:36-39)

This is what the Lord says:

'Look! An eagle is swooping down, spreading its wings over America.

The cities will be captured and the strongholds taken.

In that day the hearts of America's warriors

Will be like the heart of a woman in labor.

America will be destroyed as a nation because she defied the Lord.

Terror and pit and snare await you O people of America,' declares the Lord.

Whoever flees from the terror will fall into a pit,

Whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare;

For I will bring upon America the year of her punishment,' declares the Lord.

(Jeremiah 48:40-44)

The God of Creation is the Sovereign Lord.

He raises up nations and He tears them down

According to His Perfect understanding of their heart.

When their wickedness reaches the point of no return;

When their wickedness if full, they are torn down.

Listen:

We give thanks to You, O God,

We give thanks, for Your Name is near; men tell of Your wonderful deeds.

You say, 'I choose the appointed time; it is I Who judge uprightly.

When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm.

To the arrogant I say, 'Boast no more,'

And to the wicked, 'do not lift up your horns.

Do not lift your horns against Heaven; do not speak with outstretched neck.'

No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt a man.

It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.

In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices;

He pours it out,

And all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.

As for me, I will declare this forever;

I will sing praise to the God of Jacob.

I will cut off the horns of all the wicked,

But the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.

(Psalm 75)

Oh America, you who defy the Living God by your laws and practice.

What hope is there for you?

Unless your REPENT, there is no hope for you!

Yet the hand of God is extended to you through His Christ, Jesus.

You can come to your senses like the Prodigal Son.

Must you go to the pig pen?

Christ Jesus warned us all:

Be always on the Watch,

And pray that you will be able to Escape All that is about to happen,

And that you may be able TO STAND before the Son of Man.

(Luke 21:36)

Today, the World is raging against God, rushing toward Oblivion. (Psalm 2)

This World in it's present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
