Attacker fatally shot by police
MERCED, Calif. (KCRA) —Five people were stabbed on the UC Merced campus Wednesday morning, and the suspect, who was a student, was shot and killed by police, according to university officials.
Classes have been canceled for the rest of the day, and campus is closed.
The stabbing happened about 8 a.m. in front of the Classroom and Office Building, officials said.
