OBAMA SPENDS $2 MILLION ON AIRFARE FOR GOLF
Taxpayers on hook for 2 outings earlier this year
(WASHINGTON EXAMINER) Two golf outings taken by President Obama earlier this year put taxpayers on the hook for nearly $2 million in costs on air transportation alone.
The costs, released by government watchdog group Judicial Watch after filing a Freedom of Information Act request, showed that President Obama’s Presidents’ Day golf outing to Palm Springs, California in February ran up a price tag of $1,031,685.
Obama also traveled to Palm City, Florida for a golf weekend in March that cost $804,870.30 for Air Force One expenses.
