GOD'S GREATEST COMMANDMENT

'Teacher, which is the Greatest Commandment in the Law?'

Jesus replied:
'Love the Lord your God with ALL your Heart and with all your Soul
And with ALL your Mind.'
This is the First and Greatest Commandment.

And the Second is like it:
'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

ALL of the Law and the Prophet hang on these Two Commandments.
(Matthew 22:36-40)

Christ Jesus came to Redeem
Those who would Obey the First and Second Commandments.
They comprise God's the Whole of God' requirements.
ALL your Heart, ALL your Soul [your Will and Emotions], and ALL your Mind;
And your Neighbor as yourself.
And who is your Neighbor?--Anyone and Everyone. (Luke 10:25-37)

SO, Who Obeys these Commands?
WHO THEN CAN BE SAVED? Listen:

And behold, there came a man up to Him, saying, Teacher,
What excellent and perfectly and essentially good deed
Must I do to posses Eternal LIFE? [Lev. 18:5.]

And He said to him,
Why do you ask Me about the perfectly and essentially good?
One only there is who is good—perfectly and essentially; God.
If you would enter INTO THE LIFE,
YOU MUST CONTINUALLY KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.

He said to Him, What sort of Commandments?--Or, which ones?
And Jesus answered,
You shall not kill, You shall not commit Adultery, You shall not Steal,
You shall not bear False Witness, [Exod. 20:12-16; Deut. 5:16-20.]

Honor your father and your mother,
And you shall love your neighbor as yourself. [Lev. 19:18.]

The young man said, I have observed all these from my youth;
WHAT STILL DO I LACK?

Jesus answered him,
If you would be PERFECT
[That is, have that spiritual maturity
Which accompanies self-sacrificing character],
Go and sell what you have and give to the poor,
And come, be My disciple—side with My party and follow Me.

But when the young man heard this, he went away SAD
(Grieved and in much distress),
FOR HE HAD GREAT POSSESSIONS.

And Jesus said to His disciples, Truly, I say to you,
It will be difficult for a rich man to get into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle
Than for a rich man to go into the Kingdom of Heaven.

When the disciples heard this,
They were utterly puzzled (astonished, bewildered), Saying,
WHO THEN CAN BE SAVED [from Eternal Death]?

But Jesus looked at them and said,
WITH MAN THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE,
But all things are possible with God. [Gen. 18:14; Job 42:2.]

Then Peter answered Him saying,
Lo, we have left [our] ALL and have become Your disciples--
Sided with Your party and followed You.
What then shall we receive?

Jesus said the them,
Truly, I say to you, IN THE NEW AGE--
The Messianic rebirth of the World--
When the Son of Man shall sit down on the THRONE OF HIS GLORY,
You who have [become My disciples, sided with My party and]
Followed Me will also sit on Twelve Thrones
And Judge the Twelve Tribes of Israel.

And ANY ONE and EVERY ONE who has left houses or brothers or sisters
Or father or mother or children or lands for My Names Sake,
Will receive may-- even a hundred—times more,
AND INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE.

But MANY that [now] are First will be Last [then],
And MANY who [now] are Last will be First [then].
(Matthew 19:16-30, AMP)

WHO THEN CAN BE SAVED?
Those who have Spiritual Maturity
Which accompanies Self-sacrificing Character--
Those Empowered by the indwelling Holy Spirit.
THEN, what is IMPOSSIBLE with men,
Is made possible by the POWER of God.
We have but One Hope: Christ in us our Hope of Glory. (Colossians 1:27)
This is the only way we can Obey the First and Greatest Commandment.

Christ Jesus warned us all:
Be always on the Watch,
And pray that you will be able to Escape All that is about to happen,
And that you may be able TO STAND before the Son of Man.
(Luke 21:36)

Today, the World is raging against God, rushing toward Oblivion. (Psalm 2)
This World in it's present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)
America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.
Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)
As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!
Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
