CHRIST: THE ONLY REASON TO LIVE

There is only One Reason to live and that is In and For Christ.

Everything else is insignificant by comparison.

Christ is the only Life that exists and without His Life we have no Life.

Christ is the Life Giving Spirit. (1 Corinthians 15:45)

Without Christ, there would be no Life at all.

Christ Jesus expressed this Reality as follows:

Now on the final and most important day of the Feast,

Jesus stood forth and He cried in a Loud Voice,

IF ANY MAN IS THIRSTY, LET HIM COME TO ME AND DRINK!

He who believes in Me--

Who Cleaves to and Trusts in and Relies on Me--

As scripture has said, Out from his innermost being

Springs and rivers of Living Water shall flow (continuously).

But He was speaking here of the Spirit,

Whom those who believed—Trusted, had Faith—In Him

Were afterward to receive.

For the (Holy) Spirit had not yet been given;

Because Jesus was not yet Glorified (raised to honor).

(John 7:37-39, AMP)

I AM the Bread of Life—that gives Life, THE LIVING BREAD.

Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and [yet] they Died.

[But] this is the Bread that comes down from Heaven,

So that (any) one may eat of it and Never Die.

I [Myself] am this Living Bread which came down from Heaven.

If any one eats of this Bread, he will live Forever;

And also the Bread that I shall give for the life of the World

Is My Flesh (body).

(John 6:48-51, AMP)

Then the Jews angrily contended with one another saying,

How is He able to give us His Flesh to eat?

And Jesus said to them,

I assure you, most solemnly I tell you,

You cannot have Life in yourselves

Unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood--

Unless you appropriate His Life and [the saving merit of] His blood.

He who feeds on My Flesh and drinks My blood

Has (possesses now) Eternal LIFE;

And I will raise him up [from the dead] on the Last Day.

For My Flesh is True and genuine Food;

And My blood is True and genuine Drink.

He who feeds on My Flesh and drinks My blood dwells continually IN ME,

And I [in like manner dwell continually] in him.

Just as the Living Father sent Me,

And I live by (through, because of) the Father,

Even so whoever CONTINUES to feed on Me--

Who takes Me for his Food and is Nourished by Me--

Shall [in his turn] live Through and because of Me.

THIS IS THE BREAD WHICH CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN.

It is not like the manna which our forefathers ate and yet died.

HE WHO TAKES THIS BREAD FOR HIS FOOD SHALL LIVE FOREVER.

He said these things in a synagogue while He was teaching at Capernaum.

When His disciples heard this may of them said,

This is a hard and difficult and strange message.

Who can stand to hear it?--

Who can be expected to listen to such Teaching?

But Jesus, knowing in Himself

That His disciples were complaining and protesting and grumbling about it,

Said to them: Is this a Stumbling Block and an Offense to you?--

Does this Upset and Displease and Shock ans Scandalize you?

What then [will be your reaction]

If you should see the Son of man ascending

To the place where He was before?

IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT GIVES LIFE—HE IS THE LIFE-GIVER;

The Flesh conveys no benefit whatever--There is No Profit in it.

The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are Spirit and LIFE.

But [still] some of you fail to Believe and Trust and have Faith.

For Jesus knew from the first who did not believe and had No Faith,

And who would betray Him and be False to him.

And He said, This is why I told you that no one can come to Me

Unless it is grant him—Unless he is enabled to do so—By the Father.

After this many of His disciples drew back—

Returned to their old associations--

AND NO LONGER ACCOMPANIED HIM.

Jesus said to the Twelve, Will you also go away?

And do you too desire to leave Me?

Simon Peter answered, Lord, to who shall we go?

YOU HAVE THE WORDS (THE MESSAGE) OF ETERNAL LIFE.

And we have learned to Believe and Trust; and [more,]

WE HAVE COME TO KNOW [SURELY] THAT YOU ARE THE CHRIST,

The Anointed One, the Son of the Living God.

(John 6:35-69, AMP)

Only those who drink of the Living Water

And eat of the Living Bread HAVE LIFE!--

Both in the here and now and in the By and By;

It is Christ In us our Hope of Glory. (Colossians 1:27)

Christ Jesus warned us all:

Be always on the Watch,

And pray that you will be able to Escape All that is about to happen,

And that you may be able TO STAND before the Son of Man.

(Luke 21:36)

Today, the World is raging against God, rushing toward Oblivion. (Psalm 2)

This World in it's present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
