3 OMINOUS WORDS OF JESUS EMERGE AT GROUND ZERO

Casual observers might see this as just another remnant of a very sad even

Sitting in the National September 11 Memorial Museum in New York City is a strange looking chunk of steel.
It was found in March 2002 in the wreckage of the Twin Towers, just a few months after the worst terrorist attack ever recorded on U.S. soil brought down the towers and killed nearly 3,000 people.
Fused to this piece of steel is a couple of twisted pages from the Bible, showing a large portion of Matthew Chapter 5 and a tiny sliver of Matthew 7. The part showing Chapter 7 contains the very last part of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, where he was talking about two types of houses built on different types of foundations – one on rock, the other on sand.
To the casual observer this might be viewed as just another remnant of a very sad event. It was shown to Pope Francis on his recent trip to the U.S., as reported by the New York Times.
Jonathan Cahn, author of “The Harbinger” and subject of a new documentary film called “The Harbinger Man,” said he had seen the fused scripture years ago, but he didn’t notice the tiny sliver of Matthew Chapter 7, Verse 27, that shows up in red type.
The fragment of steel with the fused Bible pages was discovered by a fireman who handed it to a photographer, Joel Meyerowitz, who was also out in the rubble that day in March 2002. The photographer chose to focus on the larger portion of exposed text, from Matthew Chapter 5, speaking about “retaliation” and how Jesus taught not “an eye for an eye,” but rather to turn the other cheek. A message of forgiveness.
But Cahn sees something else, a different message in the tiny sliver that is hard to spot, from Matthew Chapter 7, Verse 27, which says “and it fell.”

Watch photographer Joel Meyerowitz reveal the story behind the 9/11  fragment of steel with fused Bible pages:
The full context of the Scripture is this:
"Now everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."
"The last words of the Sermon, the last to appear in red on the fused page, describe a great fall, the collapse of a building," Cahn told WND. "The building falls as the result of a storm. It cannot withstand the forces that come against it because it's not grounded on the rock. The rock represents the Word of God."
He believes the tower that fell at Ground Zero represented America. This great nation's final chapter is yet to be written, but the path it takes could be determined by its actions in these years following the Sept. 11 attack.
harbinger-man"An America that stands on the foundation of God's Word will withstand that which comes against it, and will not fall," Cahn said. "But an America removed from the Word of God, an America that no longer stands on the foundation on which it was built, will not withstand the forces that come against it, but will collapse, and great will be its fall."

American civilization was founded and established on the word of God as far back as the Puritans, Cahn said. It was as the house built on the rock.
"But as did ancient Israel, America has moved away from its biblical foundations. It has become, in effect, a civilization at war against the very bedrock, the very foundation upon which it stands," he said. "Thus, it becomes a house without a foundation, a building resting on shifting sand."
For a country to be separated from its foundation, metaphorically "floating" without an anchor, is a dangerous position in which to be, Cahn said.
"On Sept. 11, the building that embodied the soaring heights that American civilization have attained, collapsed, and came crashing down to the ruins of Ground Zero," he said. "The fact that within those same rules was embedded in the words of a sign that warns of collapse and a great fall of the house that rests not on the foundation of the rock, on the word of God, sounds a warning we can only ignore at our peril."
This is actually the second Scripture hidden and then discovered in the wreckage of Ground Zero.
The first Scripture was photographed by one of the official photographers of Ground Zero. When he got home and looked at the picture, he broke down and wept, Cahn said.
"It was Genesis 11, with the words, 'Come let us build for ourselves a tower.' It was what America would say in the wake of 9/11. And where the ruins of 9/11 stood, America would build a tower, very much like that of Babel, an edifice of defiance."
That new tower was originally called the Freedom Tower but ended up being dubbed One World Trade Center.
Regardless of its name, the rebuilt tower of Ground Zero marked the fourth of the nine signs of judgment identified by Cahn in his 2012 book, "The Harbinger."
The Harbinger begins with the Scripture Isaiah 9:10.
"When the ancient rabbis translated Isaiah 9:10 in the Greek Septuagint, they rendered it 'Come let us build for ourselves a tower.' The same words found in the ruins of Ground Zero," Cahn said.
